HURRICANE ISO 2 INFOGRAPH

Cushioning

The underfoot feel and amount of impact protection provided by the compressing materials between the foot and running surface.

Support

The level of pronation control built into the shoe. Pronation is the inward rolling of the ankle through the gait cycle.

Offset

The difference in height between the heel thickness and forefoot thickness of the shoe.

Technology

8MM

Saucony 8mm Technology

Cushioning is distributed more evenly between the heel and forefoot in shoes with an 8mm offset. The result? Your body stays in a more balanced and comfortable position with every foot strike.

BREATHABLE

Saucony Breathable Technology

Breathing is good, whether you’re a human or a piece of running gear. The materials in this product are designed to move moisture away from the skin, to keep you running dry and comfortable.

IBR+

Saucony iBR+ Technology

iBR+ is a supremely lightweight but durable outsole rubber that enhances your shoe’s other cushioning elements.

ISOFIT

Saucony ISOFIT Technology

Revolutionary fit system that morphs to the foot for a custom feel.

TRI-FLEX

Saucony TriFlex Technology

Increases force dispersion over a greater surface area while also delivering optimal flexibility and traction.

Excellent Shoe I normally wear neutral shoes, but because of the comfort of this shoe I run in it and have no problems. The ISO 2 is a great improvement over the ISO 1. The cushioning, especially in the heel, is much better. I would however like to see the heel even more cushioned, but that said it still has good cushioning in the heel. I have several pairs of top cushioned trainers, but this one is my favorite. It has the best cushioning, the best comfort. I am a little concerned with the ISO 3 that is coming out as I understand that it will have even more Everun in the heel. From my experience with other Saucony shoes that have Everun in them the Everun causes them to have a firmer ride which I don't like as well. We'll see what the ISO 3 is like. Hope it's as good or better that the 2, because the 2 is excellent.

Best shoe I've ever had I've been buying Hurricanes for years and this is the best ever. I do up to half marathons and this shoe is comfortable the whole distance every time. Also seems to have sturdier uppers than previous Hurricanes. Worth every dime.

Great For Long Distance Running I'm training for my first marathon and needed a moderate stability shoe with good cushioning. The Hurricane ISO 2 was the right choice. These are my "go to" shoes for long distance training runs. I recently ran a half marathon in them (they felt great the entire race). I'll be ordering a 2nd pair for me and a pair for my wife.
