HURRICANE ISO 2 INFOGRAPH

Cushioning

The underfoot feel and amount of impact protection provided by the compressing materials between the foot and running surface.

Support

The level of pronation control built into the shoe. Pronation is the inward rolling of the ankle through the gait cycle.

Offset

The difference in height between the heel thickness and forefoot thickness of the shoe.

Technology

8MM

Saucony 8mm Technology

Cushioning is distributed more evenly between the heel and forefoot in shoes with an 8mm offset. The result? Your body stays in a more balanced and comfortable position with every foot strike.

BREATHABLE

Saucony Breathable Technology

Breathing is good, whether you’re a human or a piece of running gear. The materials in this product are designed to move moisture away from the skin, to keep you running dry and comfortable.

IBR+

Saucony iBR+ Technology

iBR+ is a supremely lightweight but durable outsole rubber that enhances your shoe’s other cushioning elements.

ISOFIT

Saucony ISOFIT Technology

Revolutionary fit system that morphs to the foot for a custom feel.

TRI-FLEX

Saucony TriFlex Technology

Increases force dispersion over a greater surface area while also delivering optimal flexibility and traction.

Loyal Hurricane Wearer I have worn Hurricanes for almost 12 years. They are my go to and I swear by them. I purchased two pairs of the ISO 2 last summer and whenever I wear either pair, my feet hurt. The outside of the shoe seemed to always pinch the base of my pinky toe on both feet. It might be due to the material and style of the shoe. I compared to my old hurricanes and that area normally was mostly mesh in previous versions. My planter fasciitis would come back strong each time I ran in these shoes. Not sure if it's related or not, but I sprained my second toe (which I've never done) while running in these and until I stopped wearing the ISO 2, neither my planter fasciitis or sprained toe would heal. I finally went to the podiatrist thinking it was something else and he recommended swapping out shoes and after almost one month of running in my old hurricanes, I'm pain free. I am heartbroken. I would like to try the ISO 3 - does anyone know if others experienced what I did with the ISO 2 and if those issues have been addressed? Signed - Loyal Hurricane Wearer

Not the same as previous Hurricanes I love the color combination of these new Hurricanes but was very disappointed in the design. They are nothing like the Hurricanes I purchased last year. The toe is narrower which has given me problems on long distance runs. I am no longer able to wear these during my runs and they are now sitting on my shelf in a box. I have had to find a new pair of shoes. I resorted back to my Hurricanes from last year, which are designed pretty much exactly like the Redeemer.

My favorite shoe! This is my favorite Saucony shoe! It has gotten me through many half marathons and a marathon blister-free. Just enough cushion and stability to help me get my miles in.

Great fit Love the style, colors, and a great fit. I wore Saucony, then I switched over to Brooks for a few years (store I bought my saucony shoes sold out and I needed new shoes immediately) but after my Brooks wore out I went back to Saucony and I sorely miss these shoes. Great fit since the Brooks size 7 is just a tiny bit large on me and I belief the Saucony 's run a little small. But the size 7 Saucony fit perfect.

Amazing shoe I have previously run in the Hurricane ISO, and although my legs and feet did well in them, I always had blisters after my long runs. I switched to the ISO2 only two weeks before my 25k race and was worried it wouldn't be enough time, but I was desperate and had waited too long to get them. I ran my race with ZERO blisters, and absolutely no fasciitis during my recovery. I feel amazing after my race, these have been the best shoes so far. I have severe pronation on my left foot and have always had plantars fasciitis during training. I am thoroughly impressed with these shoes!
