Product Details
We upgraded our fan favorite Kinvara, while keeping it true to its sole in the eighth edition. We added a full-length EVERUN topsole for more energy return and stripped down its upper for a more comfortable form fit.
• EVERUN Topsole construction for enhanced energy return and continuous cushioning throughout the run
• Internal strap system embraces the midfoot where it’s needed most
• Lightweight FLEXFILM overlays provide structure and support
• Highly flexible outsole for greater ground contact and freedom of movement
Technology

4MM

Saucony 4mm Technology

Shoes with a 4mm heel-to-toe offset deliver a more natural ride, letting your feet and body do more work while relying less on the shoes’ cushioning and stability features.

FLEXFILM

Saucony Flexfilm Technology

A strong, lightweight material is melded to the upper, which allows for fewer layers in the shoe. The result is a seamless, flexible feel.

Lightweight Performance I've logged well over 100km in the Kinvara 8s and I must say, I'm very impressed. The shoes are lightweight, highly responsive, and still retain a smooth cushioned ride even for a model that is minimal in style. The upper is nice and light, and with the Flex Film overlays, the shoe gives you that sock like fit very similar to the Iso series (a matter of fact, I have the Freedom Iso in my rotation and both these shoes have a similar fit). My feet can breathe in these shoes, no hot spots and for someone with wider feet, I feel that there is ample room in the toe box so that my toes can splay. I did not feel the shoe to be restricting or uncomfortable at all. The Kinvara 8s are a versatile shoe; I've done a 5k race, hard tempo runs up to 10 miles, 20km at a decent pace, easy running, and almost everything in between. In my experience I would use this for anything from 5k to Half Marathon, but I'm confident that the more I train in them, I would even consider them for a full Marathon. You get good energy return from the EVE RUN material, solid cushioning and good traction. I have minimal wear (and I mean minimal) on the heel and forefoot of the shoe; I will be logging many miles in this shoe! Overall, you get a highly responsive trainer with good cushioning in a lightweight nimble package; you'll be bouncing mile after mile. Great investment for a lightweight performance shoe!
