Product Details
We upgraded our fan favorite Kinvara, while keeping it true to its sole in the eighth edition. We added a full-length EVERUN topsole for more energy return and stripped down its upper for a more comfortable form fit.
• EVERUN Topsole construction for enhanced energy return and continuous cushioning throughout the run
• Internal strap system embraces the midfoot where it’s needed most
• Lightweight FLEXFILM overlays provide structure and support
• Highly flexible outsole for greater ground contact and freedom of movement
Technology

4MM

Saucony 4mm Technology

Shoes with a 4mm heel-to-toe offset deliver a more natural ride, letting your feet and body do more work while relying less on the shoes’ cushioning and stability features.

FLEXFILM

Saucony Flexfilm Technology

A strong, lightweight material is melded to the upper, which allows for fewer layers in the shoe. The result is a seamless, flexible feel.

Took away my knee problems This is a great product I always thought that shoes were shoes until I experience knee problems. I was recommended to go to a running store and which I tried on several brand of shoes. I found this one shoe that fit like a glove light as a feather and gave me the heart of Forrest Gump. Every since I got this shoe I have not stopped running.

Good Shoe, but "Everun" = shorter life I've run 7,985 miles in seventeen pairs of Kinvaras since I switched to the Kinvara 3 back in October of 2012 (from the Mirage). That averages 469 miles per pair. My last Kinvara 6 hit 504 miles last Monday. By contrast, my two "Everun" pairs - a Kinvara 7, at 324 miles, and a Kinvara 8, at 402 miles - both feel shot. I generally retire shoes if they make it to 500 miles, but with no more ProGrid Kinvaras being made, I'm seriously thinking of keeping that last pair in circulation a little longer. Basically, I find that the "Everun" sole feels marginally better than the old "ProGrid" sole for about 150 miles, then quickly starts to fail, while the old "ProGrid" soles would degrade much more slowly. The Kinvara continues to be a good shoe, and I don't want to switch to a new shoe, but the constant changes have me considering it. The Kinvara 8 is very different from the Kinvara 3, which I chose because it was a perfect shoe for my needs. There's no such thing as a perfect shoe, but when you find what works for you, it would be nice if they didn't keep screwing it up. I wish shoe companies would leave a shoe model alone. If they want to introduce a new Everun sole for people who like the nice feel it gives for a few miles, introduce a new shoe for that. Leave the Kinvara alone.

Can go all Day I was hesitant to give up my Kinvara 7s, but- Wow. These shoes are amazing! After a 7 miler in my first pair, I ran right out and bought another to rotate. Any distance, and surface other than true trail. Great bounce, wide toe box, low and fast. Already knocked out 4 half marathons in these, and am looking into my next two pairs. One request- need more ugly colors! Louder the better!

First Kinvaras These are my first Kinvaras and I can see why there seems to be a cult following of this shoe. Great energy, light, fast. I wish it had two additions... first, a slightly larger drop would be nice to help protect the Achilles since these are trainers and not racing flats. Second, add some rubber to the bottoms on the outsole of the shoe. I under pronate and I am afraid I am going to completely wear through the foam very quickly since there's nothing there to protect it. These are a great shoe though and I am enjoying breaking them in. I am just not sure they can be my everyday trainers because of how quickly they might degrade.

Already falling apart I purchased this shoe a few weeks back and was disappointed that the toe box was too narrow. Now only a few miles in the inserts have started to wear and several threads are pulling apart towards the front. Was really looking forward to loving these but I just can't endorse them.
