Technology

8MM

Saucony 8mm Technology

Cushioning is distributed more evenly between the heel and forefoot in shoes with an 8mm offset. The result? Your body stays in a more balanced and comfortable position with every foot strike.

FLEXFILM

Saucony Flexfilm Technology

A strong, lightweight material is melded to the upper, which allows for fewer layers in the shoe. The result is a seamless, flexible feel.

IBR+

Saucony iBR+ Technology

iBR+ is a supremely lightweight but durable outsole rubber that enhances your shoe’s other cushioning elements.

TRI-FLEX

Saucony TriFlex Technology

Increases force dispersion over a greater surface area while also delivering optimal flexibility and traction.

Sizing is WAY off I have been a huge fan of Saucony Rides since the 6. I wore the 6s, 7s, 8s and just tried the 9. I always wear size 8.5 in sneakers and the Ride was always the perfect fit and sizing. My dear husband bought me a pair of Ride 9s and they are at least a half or whole size smaller than all the previous versions. I"m talking about not even being able to walk in them with the thinnest socks, let alone run in them. Even so, I tried to run in them.. that was the worse 8 miles I've ever run...toes smashing against the toebox, just horrible. Now they cannot be returned to wherever he bought them obviously because I wore them. So frustrated because very few accessible stores for me carry the Rides so you cannot try them on before you buy them. Why would I ever think the 9s would be WAY smaller?!?!?! Also, the Ride 8s were sooo comfortable until the rubber breaks down and wears out. The bottoms completely wore out in 5 months, which is under 125 miles for me. They are so worn that I can't even walk straight without my foot sinking to the side where they are worn out, causing major outer ankle strain. Saucony needs to step it up with the sizing and their materials. I have switched to another brand, I"m done!
