PEREGRINE 6 INFOGRAPH

BREAKTHRU 2 INFOGRAPH

Cushioning

The underfoot feel and amount of impact protection provided by the compressing materials between the foot and running surface.

Support

The level of pronation control built into the shoe. Pronation is the inward rolling of the ankle through the gait cycle.

Offset

The difference in height between the heel thickness and forefoot thickness of the shoe.

Technology

4MM

Saucony 4mm Technology

Shoes with a 4mm heel-to-toe offset deliver a more natural ride, letting your feet and body do more work while relying less on the shoes’ cushioning and stability features.

ALL-TERRAIN

Saucony All-Terrain Technology

High traction outsoles, protective overlays and rugged construction take the performance of our RunAnyWhere line to the next level. This is what happens when real runners make trail shoes.

FLEXFILM

Saucony Flexfilm Technology

A strong, lightweight material is melded to the upper, which allows for fewer layers in the shoe. The result is a seamless, flexible feel.

PWRTRAC

Saucony PWRTRAC Technology

Tacky, durable rubber providing exceptional traction and abrasion resistance.

The perfect trail shoe. The Peregrine handles well on any type of surface - rocks, gravel, sand, packed dirt and even pavement. It grips to slippery rocks and muddy trails. The fit is right on as compared to road shoes.

Great trail running shoe I have been saying that I was going to invest in a good pair of running shoes for a long time, and I am so glad I did. Went to our running store and tried on a lot of different shoes, but nothing beat these. So comfortable and they work great for variety of surfaces I run on. Easy to keep clean. Really pleased with my purchase.

Fits like a dream! Wonderful trail runner! It rocks with my foot on all surfaces, so I never run away with any adverse aches or pains, no blisters have come of my lengthier runs. I live in the mountains, which has many variations of terrain, these shoes handle whatever is thrown their way, (of course avoid deep puddles of water). There was never a break in period, the Peregrine 6 moulded to my foot right out of the box. Aesthetically, it's very pleasing to the eye, one of the nicer trail runners I see out and about. I love that Saucony takes into account that not all women want bright pinks and purples! They also wipe clean very easily.

Great updates to a great shoe! I have run in the peregrine since the 2nd version. I train on mixed trail and road, I am prone to plantar issues and my feet are so wide. These shoes have never failed me. I do size up to give my feet the extra width they need. The peregrine 6 is plush and comfortable. I have run long distances with no issues or pain. Thanks Saucony!

This is a great shoe, but has some difficult issues. First, I have been a dedicated Peregrine person for the last 5 years. My first pair is hanging on my wall because I can't part with them. They have served me well and have been comfortable right out of the box. Until now. The Peregrine 6 has some changes that are very good. They seem more stable and the bottom grid is suitable for road and trail. The main problem is that the top of the lace area is too rigid and now sits too high on my foot. The shoes were painful just putting them on, and when I tied the laces and tried them out it was even worse. I had red and purple marks on my inside ankle bones, and numbness running down the foot into the arch and big toe. I am so very sad and disappointed. I feel as if I'm back to square one with finding a running shoe that fits my needs. The shoes have since been returned to Saucony. I think a person with a longer space between the bottom of the foot and the ankle bone would not have any problem with these shoes.
