Technology

8MM

Saucony 8mm Technology

Cushioning is distributed more evenly between the heel and forefoot in shoes with an 8mm offset. The result? Your body stays in a more balanced and comfortable position with every foot strike.

FLEXFILM

Saucony Flexfilm Technology

A strong, lightweight material is melded to the upper, which allows for fewer layers in the shoe. The result is a seamless, flexible feel.

TRI-FLEX

Saucony TriFlex Technology

Increases force dispersion over a greater surface area while also delivering optimal flexibility and traction.

Firmer Ride While the upper is a big improvement over the Ride 9 the cushioning isn’t. The 10 is firmer than the 9 and doesn’t seem to have the same responsiveness. I like to feel some give in the cushioning when I run and you don’t get the with the 10.

Much too narrow I have run with Ride since the first model and the switch to Everun was fantastic. the 9 had a narrow fit but the Ride 10 is even narower. too narrow for me. I 'll start looking for another shoe. please make it wider next year

My new go-to mid/long distance shoe I have been running in the Triumph ISO 3 for several months and absolutely love the shoe, however I also wanted to add a shoe to the collection that gave a bit more response and feedback that was suitable for mid to long distance runs. After trying several shoes, the Ride 10 fit the bill perfectly. I’ve run an 11 miler in these and they were terrific, no hot spots, just a great all around workhorse. I run 20-35 miler per week and have no doubt the Ride 10 will serve its purpose well in the rotation. Well done Saucony.

So far so awesome! Just bought this shoe and I've put about 30 miles on it so far. Need to say, I'm a Brooks convert. The Ghost was my shoe before but I wanted to try something different this time around. What I've liked about the Ghost is what I like even better about the new Ride.. and that's the responsiveness right under the balls of my feet. Very bouncy. The shoe is also about an ounce lighter than the Ghost and it feels lower, wider and more stable. Also, it's got an 8mm drop opposed to the 12mm drop like the Ghost. To this day, I don't know of another shoe that has a 12mm drop and I'm not sure that's such a great thing. So 8mm is more conventional which won't pigeon hole you into one shoe forever. It also encourages more midfoot and toe striking opposed to heal striking. Don't get me wrong, the Ghost is an awesome shoe.. But I think the new Saucony Ride 10 is better.. keep making them this way and I'll keep my Ghosts in the closet.

Ride 10 is something special The Ride 10 is essentially improved in every way. I love the cushion, the fit, and the look. I don't have much negative to say about them. Compared to other similar shoes from other brands...the ride 10 is probably one the best for the price.
