Technologies

8MM

Comfortable for 5k short runs but nothing more I bought these last spring (april2017). They fit true to size, and they are comfortable for shorter runs. However, if I go on longer runs, like a 10K or more, they are a toenail ripper and caused blister i addition. I love them for walks and short runs though.

You missed the mark on this one Saucony. I've been running in Saucony shoes for 6-7 years. I'm a collegiate cross country and track athlete. I run every day about 30-40 miles per week. I have never had a problem with a pair of Sauconys until now. I have never gotten a black toenail or as many blisters as I have with this shoe. The narrow toe room causes it to rub on my toes and gave me several painful blisters this season. For some odd reason the narrow fit would squeeze my heel and cause pain when I was and wasn't running. For the first time in my running career I had to buy inserts. I don't know what all you have changed Saucony but I think you should consider going back to the drawing board for the next shoe.

Looks cute, but not comfortable This is the second pair of saucony I’ve purchased, but I’m really disappointed in this pair. Walking around the store they felt great, a little tight but not bad. On my first couple of runs I kept getting really uncomfortable pains and I could feel the arch support digging in and I thought it would go away after they were broken in. Unfortunately the discomfort is still there when I run with this model.

Fast breakdown I've worn Guides for years, but these ones stopped supporting me after just a month of casual road running. After closer inspection, I noticed the tread was already breaking down. I would love to blame my intense running, but it isn't the running that has changed; it's the shoe.

FITS TOO SMALL Like several other reviewers, I've worn the Saucony Guide for several years, and had stocked up on the 7's and 8's. When it was finally time to get a new pair, I confidently bought the Guide in my normal size and have had nothing but problems due to the smaller toe box. I'm now losing a toenail, and even went to the extreme of running in them without the sock liner in an attempt to create some extra room. I tried the next size up, they were definitely too large, creating a puckering across the toe box. Very sad, Saucony. Please go back to your old sizing and design.
