INFOGRAPHIE KINVARA 7

Coussinage

These shoes deliver what they promise I just finally retired my beloved Saucony Virrata 2s that this company stopped making. In the years since, I've purchased models by Merrell, Scott, Asics, Skechers, Altra and Pearl Izumi. I returned to Saucony with the Kineta Relay model I purchased for easy runs. Since I'm a shoe junkie, I opted to try the Kinvara 7 shoe. Wow! My first two runs were just great. The shoes are springy, well cushioned and very responsive. My gait feels relaxed and almost effortless. I found them a very good fit at my regular 9.5 without any unnecessary narrowness. I purchased the purple/blue model and I'm not really crazy about the color scheme, but the shoe itself is fabulous. Please don't stop making this model on me!

Comfortable and supportive for long distance running. This is the 4th shoe I've ordered and the only one I haven't taken back. I run at least 80-100 miles a month and need a good running shoe. I've tried every other brand but these are the most comfortable and supportive shoes I have found for my 13 mile runs. I'm very happy with them and the price is way better than what I paid for the ones I took back.

Love them for work but not for running I am a nurse and I LOVE these for working long 12 hour shifts! I would honestly recommend these over any shoe for long shifts. I have three different pairs of Kinvara. I have one pair of kinvara 7 and two pairs of the Kinvara 6. I have one pair that I wear for work and two pair for running. I loved them at first for running. But I suffer from plantar fasciitis and I found that the Kinvaras lost their cushion quickly. I can still wear them for running but not every day. I found that I have to switch them out with my other running shoes. If you have plantar fasciitis and are looking for a shoe to walk in these are your shoe! But for running I bought the Freedom ISO and they are perfect! I love them and they do have more cushion which is what you need if you have plantar fasciitis. I am hoping this helps those fellow runners who suffer from plantar fasciitis like me!!

Sole durability has declined with this version I've been wearing Kinvaras for at least 5 years—maybe more. They're my go-to daily road trainer. The narrower toe/body is perfect for my narrow foot, and I have yet to find a neutral shoe with such an ideal cushion-to-weight ratio. I typically rotate two-three pairs and wear them for approximately 350-400 miles each before the cushioning and outsole wear down. I'm not sure what happened with the 7s, but the soles broke down almost twice as quickly as normal. Though the specs mention the materials were updated to improve durability, I found the opposite; on two pairs I purchased together, the rubber piece on the outside of the heel started peeling after just under 100 miles (in both pairs, almost uniformly). I am a moderate heel striker, and so this area is usually the first to break down. However, never have I had the rubber peel off (it sort of looks like little strings hanging off the bottom of the shoe) or had the soles break down so quickly. After 175 miles, both pairs have worn enough that it looks as though they'll need to be replaced soon. I'm quite disappointed, as I've been wearing this shoe for so long and love it overall. I'm hoping the sole of the 8 will be back to the earlier quality, but I'm feeling slightly trepidatious.

Best responsive, versatile shoe on the market I have worn the Kinvara as my main running shoe ever since picking up the Kinvara 2 model many years ago and I can say these did not disappoint. I think the sizes have run smaller over the years as I have had to wear a 9 the past few models where I used to wear 8.5 so don't be afraid to size up if the fit seems off. I thought the toe box seemed slightly snug around my pinky toes my first run in this version but after breaking them in a few runs later I had no problems. Love the versatility of the Kinvara 7 as I wore them for all workouts, long runs, and races this training cycle without any injuries or discomfort. These are great if you love feeling the ground beneath my feet like me. The responsiveness is just as great as in previous versions.
