Saucony 4mm Technology

Shoes with a 4mm heel-to-toe offset deliver a more natural ride, letting your feet and body do more work while relying less on the shoes’ cushioning and stability features.

FLEXFILM

Saucony Flexfilm Technology

A strong, lightweight material is melded to the upper, which allows for fewer layers in the shoe. The result is a seamless, flexible feel.

IBR+

Saucony iBR+ Technology

iBR+ is a supremely lightweight but durable outsole rubber that enhances your shoe’s other cushioning elements.

Poor build quality Loved the saucony type A6 and thought id found the perfect racing shoe but unfortunately this is a step back. Like others have said the upper tears after around 40 miles compared to the 400+ miles i got out of my 2 previous pairs of the A6. I would recomend the A6 but not this shoe.

Poor quality A departure from previous Type A models, with a much roomier toe box (which is a big win). But unfortunately the build quality on this model is awful - after about 50 miles the upper is tearing and coming away at the toes (which seems like a regular occurrence looking at both the EU and US sites).

Very poor build quality This is my second pair of these shoes; the first pair having been replaced under warranty. You will get no more than 50-60k from these shoes before the uppers start to fray and develop holes. These shoes should not have been released for sale without proper testing. The drawback of lightweight shoes is durability but these shoes dont feel as fast at the type A6 and will last a 1/3 of the time. Dont bother buying them.
