Great Light Spike, But Poor Durability I bought these last fall for cross country racing and absolutely love them. They're light, fast, and look good. They also have excellent traction and fit very nicely. I've never gotten any blisters or hot spots from wearing these shoes. Unfortunately, the first time I raced in them, the insoles peeled off from the toe through the forefoot. My best guess is that it was a hot day and the glue used doesn't hold up in heat, but whatever the reason, I was very disappointed. I didn't send the shoes back because I liked their other qualities so much, and I ended up gluing the insoles back down so that I can keep using them. However, I can't say I recommend them until Saucony fixes this problem

Good on fast courses You feel very fast in the shoe however there is not a lot of padding and your feet take a beating on gravel, roots, rocks, and the occasional sidewalk crossing. The midsole lock is nice and holds the foot very well. The heel is a little large and not to snug, rocks have gotten in to the shoe before during races which was not good.

Good shoe, lacks durability on insoles The first time I wore the shoes was during an easy tempo workout and both the insoles inside each shoe started peeling off immediately. It is a shame because I love the shoes, they look great, the outside of the shoe is really durable, and I love Saucony. I never had a problem with any of my other Saucony shoes, but I guess it is just this model because one other person had the same thing happened to them and their review.
