iBR+ is a supremely lightweight but durable outsole rubber that enhances your shoe’s other cushioning elements.

POWERGRID

Saucony PowerGrid Technology

PowerGrid is a lightweight, ultra-premium cushioning foam that, ounce for ounce, delivers a smoother and more rebound-filled ride than the competition.

Ridge in heel Nice and wide and love that my orthotics sit nice and flat in there but they build up a ridge inside around the ankle. It's painful. I don't know if it's the foam breaking down but it feels so hard it could be a wire

Mixed feelings about recommending First I have to say that I love the fit and feel of these. I was looking for something cushioned and neutral, and I'd heard good things about Saucony and wanted to give them a try. This was the first pair of Saucony shoes that I thought would fit the bill. They gave me some room in the toe box, they feel surprisingly light and cool/airy, and they are like running on clouds. My problem is the quality. Before I ever ran in them, I wore them for light daily activity. Within a month of wearing them just to work and home, I noticed a hole forming in the lining over the toe area of the right shoe. It's been a few months now, and it's only the lining so far, not the outer mesh, but I think it's just because I've babied them a bit. I figure it's just a matter of time before I wear through. And I see I'm not the only one who has had this problem. I'm disappointed, and as much as I'd like to trade this pair out just for running and buy another to start wearing daily, I'm concerned that I'll end up being just as dissatisfied with the quality.

Great shoe, nice toe box room, good heel cup, nice that offset is only 8mm I've never worn Saucony and this is a great shoe. One of the best I've ever had for comfort and cushion. I have a wide forefoot and lots of foot and ankle issues. This was the only shoe I could wear. Cushion is one of the best I've found, forefoot is roomy without the heel being too wide or too shallow. The soles seem to wear well, but the inside of the shoe has not held up very well. I was disappointed in this aspect. I've been running for 35 years and I've never had the insoles of a shoe fall apart or worn a hole in the toe. I have had these shoes for about 5 months, but have not worn them for running much because of an injury. With walking only, the insoles have worn holes in the heel, and both almost have holes in the toes from the inside. I'm not sure what to make of that. I have taped the insoles and toe areas inside with Rock Tape, so we'll see how that works. The store I bought them from only has a 30 day return policy, so I'm out of luck there. Despite the issues of the inside breaking down, I rate this shoe high because of the comfort, cushioning, and outer sole. I' hoping the rock tape will last!

The only shoe I can wear I have flat feet and I overpronate. I've been wearing a different shoe, made by a competitor and they changed it dramatically and I can no longer wear it. This shoe does run a bit wide but it literally is the ONLY shoe I can wear. Wish there was more color options though.

Exactly what I was looking for I bought these while making the switch from hiking boots to runners. I hike a lot, several times a week usually with my long distances (10+ miles) on the weekend. I've been unhappy with my hiking footwear until now. These shoes are roomy enough in the toe area so that I don't hit the end of the shoe, saving me from aching toenails. They are wide enough through the ball of my foot so that as my foot expands with increased distances, my feet don't ache. The soles are thick enough that I don't feel every rock I step on. Plus, they've held up well! I've had them for about 7 months now, I wear them almost every day, and I've hiked many miles in them so far and they are holding up perfectly. I do want to add that I bought insoles to go along with these shoes for added arch support.
