A Perfect Trainer I first bought these shoes because Duane Solomon ran cross country and track at my highschool and they are his favorite shoes. I figured because I have the same high school coach, train on the same track, and on the same trails I had to like them. I race everything from the 110yd to 2mi in track and the 3mi in cross country. Although I opt for a pair of spikes or flats when I race I train in the Kinvaras everyday. During preseason training when I'm running more long and tempo runs the shoes are durable enough to handle the millage. During the season I do more intervals than anything and the shoes are firm and responsive enough to hit my times on the track. I've had no problems with these shoes and have to say my favorite thing about them is the wider toebox. I've ran just under 233mi in the shoes and I look forward to running another 67mi in them before I hop into the 8s.

Miss the wide width I've always loved the Kinvara but since I can no longer get them in a wide I've had to find another race shoe. I still train in the Triumph and would love to get to race in the Kinvara but unless they start making them in the wide again I'm out of luck!! Please go back to making them in a wide width. Please Dean

For me the perfect shoe Don't care for K5-6 but was pleasantly surprised when I not only put my feet in these but ran in them for the 1st time. I've had them for quite a few months now and at age 52 set new PRs in 2 marathons both BQs and my 1/2 marathon as well as won a 1/2 marathon trail run in them and a PR in a 5k. So yea love the shoes and can't wait to run my 1st Boston Marathon in them this year!!!

A Brilliant Shoe Smothered in Cushioning I first bought the Kinvara 2s and became an immediate loyalist. I've bought each subsequent version since. This shoe was amazing! It was comfortable but was also responsive and perfect for minimalist running on the hard asphalt. Since abut the Kinvara 4, each version has increased the cushioning. They kept adding a little more as if I wouldn't notice. Now, 3 versions later, there is nothing left from the original version. As much as I want to like the Kinvara, I can't anymore...

The Kinvara Legacy Continues I put 602 miles on my Kinvara 6s and enjoyed every mile in them. I expected the same thing out of the 7s and its exactly what I got. These are great. They're responsive with solid cushioning, while still maintaining the lightweight Kinvara style. These also perform pretty well in the trails. They have great traction. These are perfect for speed as well as long runs. I used these in my first half marathon where I ran 1:18:59. They can definately go the distance while being a relatively speedy shoe. I highly recommend Kinvara 7s if you are looking for neutral, responsive running shoes.
