Technology

THERMAL

Saucony Thermal Technology

Training doesn’t stop when the temps drop, so why should you? Cozy fabrics help retain body heat, keeping you warm and dry whether you’re going for a quick 3 or tackling the Iditarod. Mush!

WICKING

Saucony Wicking Technology

Sweat can cling to your skin and clothes, making you cold, clammy or just plain uncomfortable. Wicking materials move sweat away from your skin. Problem solved.

Warmest thermal pant out there! I bought these for 3-4 mile runs in sub-freezing temps and I love them. These are now my favorite winter running pants. They're comfortable, don't ride up/chafe/rub/fall down, etc. and they're super warm. They keep you both warm and dry. I found them to be quite tapered and they feel like a tight in that they don't flap around your ankles. They're also plenty long enough--I'm 5'6" and I still had a few inches to spare. I predict they'd work for runners up to 5'9" and still cover your ankles. I found them to be true to size. I'm 5'6", 136 lbs, wear a size 6 in jeans, and have muscular legs and these fit perfectly. Love the "continuous" drawstring as you'll never lose the strings. Highly recommend! (My only suggestion is for Saucony to add more reflective accents.)

Finally, my legs aren't cold! I got these at my local running store and tried them out today while temps were in the upper 20s with a slight wind chill. My legs didn't seem to mind, though, as they stayed toasty warm (but not too warm). I am 5'8" and curvy, and the L is a little roomy but not too much so (seems bigger than other major brands' size L). They are a little wide at the bottom, not very tapered, but didn't seem to bounce around much. And they're long enough! My only complaint/suggestion is that the drawstring is crazy long... not a major issue. I haven't owned them long enough to assess durability.
