Technology

4MM

Saucony 4mm Technology

Shoes with a 4mm heel-to-toe offset deliver a more natural ride, letting your feet and body do more work while relying less on the shoes’ cushioning and stability features.

FLEXFILM

Saucony Flexfilm Technology

A strong, lightweight material is melded to the upper, which allows for fewer layers in the shoe. The result is a seamless, flexible feel.

ISOFIT

Saucony ISOFIT Technology

Revolutionary fit system that morphs to the foot for a custom feel.

TRI-FLEX

Saucony TriFlex Technology

Increases force dispersion over a greater surface area while also delivering optimal flexibility and traction.

Zealot ISO 3 Infograph

Cushioning

The underfoot feel and amount of impact protection provided by the compressing materials between the foot and running surface.

Support

The level of pronation control built into the shoe. Pronation is the inward rolling of the ankle through the gait cycle.

Offset

The difference in height between the heel thickness and forefoot thickness of the shoe.

Better than Zealot 2 As with most people - I've had to keep switching shoes every time the designers are let loose. I understand new materials, etc., but why do they think women's feet are constantly changing? That said - I'm very pleased that this shoe returned to sanity and widened the forefoot to fit an average person. It's still not quite as wide as the first Zealot, but definitely acceptable. The cushioning is great and the 4 mm lift works well for me - and my aging knees. Note to designers - if it works don't "fix" it...

Great for short runs - not so much for long runs I bought these last month. They're very pretty, and I love how easily they go on and lace up. They're great for short runs, but after running long runs in these (5 miles or more), my feet always hurt, especially in the balls of my feet. I've never had foot pain with any other pair of running shoes I've worn - just these

Zealot 1 lovers rejoice! Did you love Zealot 1? Did you cry when Zealot 2 was made to be narrower and clunky? This upgrade in Zealot 3 is everything I hoped it would be! I've been running in this pair for over 75 miles now, and it only gets better. Midfoot is nice and wide, and they feel like feathers on my feet. Finally I can go for a run, and not have to give much thought to my feet/shoes at all, because they are finally happy again. When I was out of my stockpile of the first Zealot, I resigned to trying out other brands of shoes (suggested by the local running store). Nothing could deliver the low drop, yet highly cushioned feel of the Zealot. I have a mid/forefoot strike, narrow heel, wide foot. My street shoe size is 8, in these I wear a 9 (which gives a nice amount of wiggle room). Thank you Saucony!
