Rated 3 out of 5 Too flimsy
I am in love with the Shay XC2 and was disappointed by these. I ended up returning them because they were to flimsy and dug into my ankle. Looking forward to seeing the next version. I love the soles on these shoes which remain the same form the previous version.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these shoes! Have had soooooo many compliments on them. While I am not a runner, I am on my feet all day long with no breaks. When I received them, one look at them & I told myself that I had just wasted my money because theres really nothing to them. HOWEVER, when I ;put them on it was like a breath of fresh air! They are so comfortable that it feels almost like I'm walking barefooted! So lightweight! Treat yourself and buy a pair!

this shoe is very light weight and provides support without all the bulk. it runs small and narrow though, so be wary of that. the design is very cool looking. i like the stability the flex film gives the sides of the shoe. i'm glad they offered this spikeless version.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by SkeletonSlider Change in upper, same great sole.
I was a big fan of the past two versions of the Shay. I have a narrow foot, so the way the tongue wrapped around to the footbed was great and really kept my foot from moving around. I use this shoe in my training for skeleton; on the track, treadmill, and push track. I love the new look. It is now a seamless upper. It still has the same great sole. The tongue no longer wraps around. It feels much lighter and less bulky. Much more on the minimalist side than the previous two versions.
