Rated 4 out of 5 by Foot issue I have been battling various foot issues for almost a year. I tried switching to non motion control shoes and I believe that is the root of my problem. I bought these for when I am out of my boot next week and can start trying to run again. Felt like good cushion so I don't re-injure myself. I know it's vain, but one of the main reasons I tried other shoes was b/c of the look of motion control shoes. Please give us a fun color option! Just b/c I severely over pronate dies not mean I don't love fun looking shoes. Everyone else gets lots of shoes to choose from and thus category we are so limited in choice. It's the little things that make me happy :) (I will update my review once I have started running in them too) March 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product looks and feels great. I absolutely love these shoes, they are the most comfortable I have ever worn. I will be purchasing another pair very soon. I want one for indoors and one for outdoors. My job keeps me on my feet for 8 hours. My feet have never been so happy. March 18, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by The Engineers Did a Bad Job I have been running in the Stabil for 5 years (approximately 10 pairs, this being my 11th). Every upgrade has been an improvement. The CS2 was awesome. I owned 4 pair of those. This shoe is VERY poorly designed for its job, a stability shoe for overpronation. In my opinion, the exact reason has to do with the "Sauc-Fit" arch compared to the previous "Arch-lock" on the medial side of the shoe. In the previous model the "Arch-lock" ran the entire length of my arch starting at the joint of the big toe. This model starts exactly one inch behind that point so the first inch of your arch gets ZERO support. And after running 4 miles in these, I have a blister that exact size, in that exact location. I am very disappointed because Saucony always made the best motion control shoe, in my opinion. If you are just using these for casual wear they are probably fine, but I am very displeased with the lack of support. March 6, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good stability for serious pronation I am not a serious runner, but I used to be. Now I run about 15 - 20 miles a week, some on a treadmill, some outside. I have used this shoe on both. It provides excellent stability, although I am using over-the-shelf Montrail orthodics as well. My pronation problem has worsened over the years and this shoe seems to work for me so far, with the orthodics. The only issue I've had is that the right shoe rubs my fourth toe due to the tongue slipping when I run/walk. I think some adjustment to the laces could correct this problem, but I'm still working on it. I wore the Saucony Stabil for about 10 years, and then due to my pronation getting worse, I switched to Brooks for a few years, but they are heavier so I decided to try the Stabil with the orthodics and see how it goes. So far, so good, and I feel the difference in weight. I can't wait to get them dirty though. Geez, they are bright. February 21, 2014
