Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for Turbo Fire These are great shoes for doing Turbo Fire or any type of exercise that requires jumping and side to side motions. They keep your feet and ankles stable, preventing your foot from sliding off the soles of your shoes. I would definitely recommend these shoes. April 12, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 Nothing Like The Gird Virtue I bought these to replace the original Grid Virtue which I have worn for many years. The new Grid V2 looks like the Grid Virtue but that is where any similarity ends. This shoe is narrow, with less material on the sides. The style of the laces hurts the top of my foot. The tongue is short and narrow, it offers no padding from the laces or the sides of the shoe near the ankle. I am so disappointed in the V2's lack of comfort, why make a shoe that looks like it's predecessor but has a completely different fit? I had to return them and will be looking at another brand. Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed Unfortunately, I am very disappointed in this shoe. Let me start off by saying that I have flat feet and pronation. I had no foot pain until I reached middle age, then suddenly by day’s end the pain was excruciating. So, off to the podiatrist I went. Yep, plantar fasciitis and toe tendonitis caused by my flat feet. The podiatrist recommended three brands of running shoes with orthotics; one of those brands was Saucony. Now, my employer requires that black shoes/sneakers be worn. It is not an easy task finding black running shoes that aren’t adorned with neon green, pink or orange. I was so happy to find the original Grid Virtue, black for work, so comfortable and with my orthotic eased my foot pain significantly. When I heard they were to be discontinued, I purchased all I could find. Fast forward to today, I’m down to my last pair of Grid Virtue so I need to find a replacement. I was relieved to see the V2 as the successor to the Grid Virtue on Saucony’s website. I purchased a pair expecting the same comfort as the Grid Virtue. I am afraid that is not the case. The V2 is pretty much a carbon copy of the Grid Virtue, except for the tongue. I have no idea why Saucony would do this, but they made the tongue significantly shorter and narrower. There is not enough padding on the tongue to prevent the side of the shoe from digging in below the ankle. The tongue is so short that it slips underneath the laces when walking causing pain. I don’t know what in the world Saucony was thinking. Maybe they needed to remove some material and padding to keep the shoe at the same price as its predecessor. I for one would have been happy to pay a little more for a comfortable shoe. January 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by A classic that I buy over and over... This is now the 3rd time I've purchased this sneaker due to the quality of it. I use it for the gym on the treadmill, etc. This shoe has extreme comfort and holds up so well. I have neuroma in both of my feet and since switching over to these shoes for workouts I have had no further pain! EXCELLENT! Will keep purchasing this style! January 4, 2014
