Good running shoe
Bought this for the somewhat low weight and low toe-heel-drop. A great shoe. No problem transitioning from Asic Nimbus 13. The Profile is a lot faster, easier and even cheaper. I guess also a good shoe to transition to lighter, more neutral and less cushioned shoes. Unless you're already running in even lighter and less obtrusive shoes these are a good way to develop your form

Best shoe ever
I loved theses so much that I bought a pair for my husband who never wears running/tennis shoes. And 2 more for myself.
NO BREAKING IN PERIOD for either one of us. Just put them on and GO......

Firm and not very Flexible
I got this shoe because I was looking for a good shoe to train in, which also was good for forefoot/midfoot strikes. This shoe is advertised as having great cushioning and flexibility, but I found it be quite firm and not very flexible either. In addition the tread pattern on the bottom is not good on wet surfaces. Wet roads become very slippery. The bootie construction is annoying as well because the laces are spaced further apart and therefore dig into the foot more. Finally the shoe is pretty narrow, it didn't seem bad when I tried it on, but it becomes noticeable when running. I would not recommend this as a running shoe.

A decent shoe, but I probably won't buy it again
I bought this shoe because I thought that the 4mm drop would help me as I try to shorten my stride and strike further forward on my foot, but that the thick cushioning would make this process easier on my legs and feet. Also I thought that the price was more reasonable than some of the alternatives.
The shoe meets those expectations, so I am generally satisfied.
A couple of additional comments though:
- the shoe is quite narrow at the toe (and I have fairly narrow feet)
- the shoe is not very flexible, despite the manufacturer's description
So I will wear these out, but look to replace them with something that is wider and more flexible.
(The sewn in tongue is a complete non-issue for me)
