Great shoe for running and everyday use.
I bought these in black. I purchased them to use for everyday use. I shoot video and I work long days out doors. I know they bill them as a running shoe, but these are great all day shoes. Nice and flat. No spongy bottom. My feet do not sweat too much in these. I have a pair of suede shoes for the winters that make my feet sweat way too much. They are decent for the winters, but these Hattori's are gonna be my go to's for the other three seasons. I am made to wear black on black for productions sometimes, thankfully Saucony made these in black.
I also own the regular Hattori's in orange (Vizipro) that I use for running. They have held up very well through many miles. That is why I returned for more. I like these AW's more. My heel seems to slide around less in them. They would be good for trails I am assuming. I have walked over rocks, grass, and pavement. I've only run a bit in them. Short sprints. It's all been great.
I bought and wear a size 14. They fit perfectly. Super comfy.

Amazing Shoe
I wore this shoe all through cross country season (uncountable 5Ks), on many extended treks on my bicycle, and now into track season. They keep my feet at a good temperature in winter and summer. Good water resistance. The only wear is in the soles, and the only complaint I have with these is that they do not dry easily. The rain and muddy creeks added to this, but I wore them without socks for most of their use and they smell pretty bad. Running in them while they are wet also stretches the lining on the inside sole and can create blisters. I do throw them in the wash from time to time but this helps with the smell minutely.
If I had a second pair to use on the days these were wet, this would have been remedied. Bottom line, this is an amazing shoe, I love them and they have served me well. Initially when I was adjusting into these minimalist shoes (from Kinvara 2s) they killed my calves, but after 2-3 weeks of switching back and forth my legs have adapted and they are still going strong for me six months later. I am looking to get a new pair but Saucony seems to be discontinuing the production of these shoes. I am extremely disappointed.

Ultimate running/yoga shoe
This shoe is amazing. If your reading this review to see whether or not you should get this shoe i say abosulely go for it. Its very affordable. The look and feel of the shoe is incredible. i have a few pair of nike free runs and although this is half the weight of that shoe it feels more comfortable, and durable. Its also an all purpose kind of shoe so its good for any kind of weather. This shoe fits like a glove.

Great barefoot running and walking shoe!
I own the original Hattori shoes which I have really enjoyed. These in my mind are even better as they are more durable and there is better protection in wet weather. I live in Hawaii and we get a lot of rain so these are always getting wet.
The fit is excellent and they are incredibly comfortable.
I also like the simplicity of the velcro straps, no shoe laces to deal with!
These are the best barefoot running shoes I have tried, and I have tried a lot of different brands, so good job Saucony!
