Rated 5 out of 5Â by MaryT Tried many shoes, always come back to this classic
This has just the right amount of cushioning and support. I need a wide, and this one offers a wide option, which is perfect for me. It's hard to find, so I've tried a lot of other models over several years, but always come back and now order online. I like the neutral color that doesn't clash with either of my running club uniforms. I hope it never gets discontinued.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by TennisTurk Best shoe ever, but please make a white one.
I wear this shoe for tennis. It is the only shoe that has conquered plantar fasciitis. But since I wear it for tennis, I'd like a neutral color - white please. I keep buying the same original color because it's the closest to white and I can't afford shoes for every tennis outfit I own. Also, I tried Jazz, but it doesn't have the side support that the Shadow has.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Kookie Fits my feet perfectly!! Please change the color!!
I have been running long distance/cross country with Saucony Shadow shoes since 1996-High School. I have bone spurs on my heals, and I've had NO blisters or aches and pains when I run in the Shadow 5000 or 6000 shoes. At one point I went to a running store and tried on every pair of running shoe for a better looking, more modern shoe, but nothing felt as good as the Saucony Shadow 6000. I have normal arches and a slight inward pronation when I run. I like my running shoes to fit snug with little wiggle room. These shoes give the support and comfort I need for runs on and off trail ranging from 3-20 miles. I fear the day they stop making these shoes.
Please do NOT change the shoe!!!!
My only complaint is PLEASE CHANGE THE COLOR!!!! After a week of running off road, I am often teased about how gray and dingy my shoes look. Overall, comfort beats looks. I will continue to buy these shoes as long as Saucony makes them... but a little change in color will go a long way!!

 by Deb 2 pairs defective
I ordered these from amazon, the right shoe was defective. The front portion near the big toe was slanted to the inside and the shoe was totally flat to the ground while the left she was elevated by about an inch. I received a replacement. Defective again. This time the right shoe near the small toe had the seam sewn wrong. There was a ball of material all bunched up. The left shoe on the first pair felt amazing. I think you need better quality control. I may try a third time, but if this is defective....
