Left is right, right is wrong? I have used Saucony Triumph Iso 2 and Kinvara 7, so it was fairly easy to just buy exactly the same size in this model. Purpose: winter running, southwest Sweden, which means wet conditions, some snow, ice and crust, in a mixture. Shoe upper: warm feet, really nice to not need to worry for puddles of water or snow slush. Outsole: not really working on solid ice, shoe is slipping, both on flat and "bumpy" smooth ice surfaces. Better for snow than ice, simply. Midsole: left foot is perfect, but right pootpad area feels completely diffrent. After approximately 3-4 km, the front part of the footpad starts to feel numb. Have now tried 4 runs up to an hour, this happens all these times, not due to that break-in is missing I think. Have tried different thickness of socks, and how to tie the laces. No, Left shoe is perfect, right shoe feels stiffer/harder under the front footpad. This has never been felt in any other shoe before. (Does this model have a rockplate or not? Hard to understand from various internet information, maybe mixing up Peregrine and Peregrince ICE+?) Think I need to go back to the shop and discuss with them? (I am 63 kg @ 174 cm, not overweight, and runs appr. 25 km per week in total, over 3 occasions. Fairly slow runner.)

Great for walking on ice. I really like this shoe. I wear these shoes for everything. I have to wear some heftily orthotics and they fit in the shoe comfortably without me buying a have size lager. Great for walking on snow and ice, better than any boot. My only complaint is that there is only one color. How about a gray, or burgundy, or a black.

Awesome! I'm a long-time fan of the Peregrine but decided to splurge on the Ice version for my winter pair. These shoes rock! Ran 4 hours in the snow today and ended with dry feet. Great traction on ice and just as comfortable as the traditional Peregrine.
