Best running pant I have ever had - by , Dec 30, 2018
5/ 5 Stars
These pants are great- loose enough to be able to wear them into a post-run coffee shop visit, but fitted enough for everything from long runs to track workouts. For reference, I am 6'3, 32"waist, 34/35" inseam and wear a medium in these- perfect fit. Light and stretchy but surprisingly warm. Perfect warm-up pant as well.

My third pair - by , Nov 09, 2018

I’ve worn out two pairs over a decade or so. Love this for casual wear, for over tights of gym shorts when it’s cold. Easy on/off over shoes. Fabric is cozy against skin.

Great pants for running - by , Sep 05, 2018

Great running pants whether your going for distance or short runs. These pants don’t leave you chaffing after a long run. Also great for lounging around the house.

easy running - by , Feb 23, 2016

The are amazing! The soft fabric stretches and has excellent moisture absorbing capability. They are tapered with a slim fit and 29” inseam which works even at 6 ft. tall. Love the zippered side seam hand pockets! It safely stores my gear i want to carry and the zippers at back ankles help me get running faster if i am wearing them for warming up. The elastic waistband with internal drawstring is a plus for true comfort. The wash up great! Highly recommended if you want to look good and have comfort while running and doing other activities.

Perfect for Pre and Post race activities. Very comfortable but don't expect to much warmth. Relatively thin material. Comfortable for lounging or travel as well

Great Tapered Running Pant! - by , Feb 01, 2015

I have been searching for a good slim fitting tapered running pant for a long time. I basically was running in one pair for three years. So I am 5'10", 155lbs, 31" waist, 31" inseam, 15" calves, 21" thighs. Alright, so why all the info. It is because I fall between sizes nowadays. Things are getting bigger. So based on my history of running bottoms, medium waist fits great but is often too long. (I guess 5'10" is considered short nowadays but I digress) I don't like baggy pants or a lot of extra material around the ankle so I often order both a medium and a small and see what fits better. That was the case here. Size Small: What I found was with my inseam and leg size the small had a great tapered slim fit to it so there wasn't much material moving around and was still very comfortable and came right to my ankles nicely. However, I find the waist to be a little on the tight side. Size Medium: Pants felt baggy and loose fitting at my height and leg size with some extra material at the bottom. Still didn't move around a lot but I could tell that on a longer run 14+ miles or a wet run it would be cumbersome. The waist was comfortable and fit great. Decision: Ideally, if they made a medium with a short length I say game on but I went with the small because even though the waist is a little tight I still wear compression shorts underneath which are much tighter fitting. As for warmth, materials, or features. Solid material, very comfortable, zipper pockets a nice touch, quite warm down into the 20's and teens (but my legs don't get very cold anyway). Only complaint there is that sometimes the ankle zipper bothers my ankle, but a higher cut sock rather than no-shows solves that problem.

Single Greatest Winter Pant - by , Nov 20, 2014

I kid you not this was the best purchase I have made from Saucony. I live in Michigan just off the lake and the winters get rough. These pants are not only light, but they are warm. Perfect for wind or snow or just plain cold, these pants always keep me perfectly warm. I would recommend them to anyone.

I'm 73 sm in waist. The pants size S is very tight in waist, it hurts me. Cheap Fabric. Doesn't worth the price.

Comfortable but not true to size - by , Mar 19, 2014

I enjoyed running in these pants, and wore them during a half marathon, but they are a bit longer than the size implies, I at one point almost tripped over the pant legs, and the zipper had broke as a result. It was my first time wearing these pants too. Which I wasn't to happy about.

Disappointed in the changes - by , Nov 28, 2013

I have owned at least 6 pairs of these pants. There has been a major change for the worse. First of all, the size small, of which I currently have 3 pairs, are no longer "small" the leg length was mor like "tall" the inseam must have been 36" or more. Secondly, the materil has changed significantly. You wouldn't want to wear this ultra thin rights in this winter- and definitely not in Boston winters! Unfortunately, after many years, after a collegiate and post collegiate career, I can no longer count on saucony.
