great running capri - by , Apr 08, 2017
5/ 5 Stars
I had to write a review because the bullet capri is my favorite. not only are they so comfortable, but the pockets are great!!!! the back zip is for my keys and the side pockets are for my phone (galaxy 7) and my gels. I use them for all my runs because I like to be hands free. the side pockets are even large enough for a small water bottle. nothing falls out of the pockets, which is great. highly recommend for marathon training

Amazing pants - by , Apr 01, 2017

I wore these to run my first marathon in (NYC 2016!!) as I needed pockets because I wanted to have my phone and fuel without carrying anything. I never run with my phone and if I do, I have it in a flip belt, which rides up a bit. These capri's were awesome the entire time!!! Yes, they are tight, but if you are running a length of time or mileage, you want them tight. The side mesh pockets were perfect, I have a Samsung galaxy 5 and it fit fine. I took the phone out of the case, put it in a small plastic bag (just in case with sweat) and never had any problems with it coming close to falling out. The other side mesh pocket I put 2 gels, chew blocks and possibly something else, again, perfect. There was no bouncing of the items, they stayed in place (things bouncing in pockets when running ruins my entire run). Back pocket was ID, money and credit card. I cannot rave about these pants enough. I wish I could own every pair!!! I am 5'2 and a half, about 117 lbs, waist about 26 inches and hips about 36 inches, considered hourglass petite. The small was snug, but fit. If you are a little bigger, I would say maybe try medium as I put on a few pounds (5ish) since November and the smalls are now way too snug! I wash them and never put them in the dryer, haven't had any problems with them in that regard either.

Love these capris! - by , Dec 08, 2016

I've worn these capris for 5ks, long runs, trail runs, and a 13 mile hiking expedition in NH. The pockets on the side are perfect for holding a phone or fuel.. Super comfy, zipper pocket on the back, and a great length - right below the knee, so doesn't slip over my calves and move mid-run like longer capris do. I might have to get these in more colors. Fits true to size - i'm 5'5", generally a size 4-6. Have these in a S and they are perfect.

So tight! - by , Aug 23, 2016

I really wanted to like these. They seem like great quality, and the pockets are awesome! However, they are super tight in the waist. I know I will never have a problem with them sliding down, but it leads to all kinds of unflattering fat squishing. I will keep them and hope it motivates me to lose the last 5 lb. Maybe order up a size.

I love the capris and wish I could do everything in them. After 3 wears I noticed 1 of the seams now is broken and there is a hole. Not sure what to do now.

Best ever! - by , Apr 02, 2016

How do I begin to describe the greatness of these running capris? They fit like a dream! The wide waistband is comfortable and flattering. The length is perfect. I'm 5' tall and these fit like capris are supposed to. They are moisture wicking which is a plus in this hot Hawaiian climate. They wash and wear well. I hang mine to dry after washing and they always feel like brand new when I put them on. But, the best feature by far is the pockets. Three of them! One zippered in the back so you don't have to worry about losing your car keys at a race and two mesh side pockets. They are big enough to carry your phone (no more arm band chaffing), nutrition, inhaler, or whatever you need to tote around. I will be purchasing more soon.

Great bottom for running EVER! - by , Oct 27, 2015

This style of capris are truly the greatest bottom ever created for running (and I've tried a LOT--I used to write gear reviews for national fitness and running magazines!). If I could only have one pair of bottoms for running year-round, it would be the Bullet Capri. Where to start with its perfection? The pockets, of course! The two side cargo pockets (one on each outer quad) are ideal for holding a smartphone (even an iPhone 6) and several packets of GU gels or GU Chews. Then there's the zippered rear pocket, which is where I stash change I find on my run. The wide waistband is comfortable and non-binding, and it smooths out my had-three-kids belly. With the wide waistband + continuous internal drawcord, these capris stay put no matter how far I run. The lightweight fabric is supple and has a wonderful feel. I haven't overheated in these capris on 80-degree 18-mlie runs nor have I gotten too cold on 30-degree runs. I'm 5' 11" with long legs, and I love the length of these capris--they hit right below my knees and never ride up. Finally, the scalloped reflective trim helps motorists see me on pre-dawn runs. I have run 3 marathons in the Bullet and put in hundreds (if not thousands!) of training miles in them. I'll be sporting a pair at 2016 Boston Marathon, for sure.

My new favorite running Capri. - by , Oct 24, 2015

I first got these capris (in black) during the early spring prior to the Vancouver Marathon. My old favorites were Nike Dri-fit from 2007 and it's taken a long time to find a good replacement! The wide waistband is so comfortable and flattering, completely smoothing my muffin top. I was concerned that they don't have an adjustable drawstring, but they have never slipped or sagged. I don't use the pockets as much as some people do. I have used them for gels during some races, and now that it's fall I stuff my gloves in when I get too warm (which is actually very useful, I have spent a lot of time carrying gloves in the past). I have black, charcoal grey, and a grey bubble pattern. None of them show sweat as complained in another comment. I can't speak to the black and white pattern, as I don't have them yet (but want). I know they are a bit expensive (and actually I've gotten mine in sales), but I think they're a worthwhile investment as good running capris are essential!

Sleek but not restrictive - by , Oct 24, 2015

These capris are elite. They are comfortable and don't restrict movement at the knee or hip like some tights tend to. Also, they aren't as long as the scoot tight capris, so better for those inbetween days.

The BEST capris - by , Oct 20, 2015

These capris are clearly MADE for runners BY runners! With pockets so deep that you can fit many energy gels in both sides for long runs, and styled so comfortably you can even put your phone in, you can run hands-free. The wide waistband is flattering for all shapes and sizes and the patterns available are a major bonus. I can't speak highly enough of these!
