Chafing and strange across the leg banding - by , Jan 19, 2019
2/ 5 Stars
I have been a die hard saucony bullet running pant for a very long time. The moment I tried on a pair it was love on the run. I loved the amount of compression. I loved the feel. I loved that the material was not so sheer that you could see through and not so heavy that it was weighty. They were just sleek and comfortable. This is not the case in the new bullet. I ordered black and I ordered the blue print. I love the blue print. LOVE it! Keep up with the exciting materials. I HATE and I do mean HATE the crazy banding that you put going horizontally around the mid of your quad and vertically down the front of your quad. I have the pants in both a large and extra large and it does not matter....because of the compression material it gives the appearance of cross sectioning your legs. But that is not the worst part...it is the chafing that you could from the horizontal band when you do long runs. Why on earth did you change the original design? Please go back to the original design. Thanks.

Different than original Bullet leggings - by , Jan 03, 2019

Really bummed these didn't work out since I love my original Bullet leggings, 7/8s and capris. Similar issues to other reviewers, in that the seam above the knee was irritating as well as unflattering. The waist band is very different than the original and scratchy too. I love the print of the spectrum green, but unfortunately, these had to be returned.

Great color and overall fit! - by , Dec 10, 2018

The color is great, doesn’t fade or get see through with running or workouts! Love the pockets also. Only dislike was a pokey part of the inside seam along where the internal/back pocket is. I imagine this is for durability of the zipper, but it is a bit scratchy! I don’t notice it if I tuck my shirt in though- easy fix :)

Ugh, seams! - by , Nov 29, 2018

I love my original Bullet tights and decided to try a pair of the 2.0 tights. Those seams are a deal breaker for me - they wrap around about 4 inches above the knee and are super itchy! If I had worn them to run, I'm positive I would have ended up with a rash.

Greatest of All Time - by , Nov 11, 2018

These are the greatest tights of all time (both the full length and capri length). If you are like me and trapped between a small and a medium in leggings for all manufacturers, you will find solace with the medium in these. A perfect, flattering, stay-put fit that doesn’t fall down or give you baggy crotch. (I am 5’ 4” and 128lbs.) Unlike other reviews, I don’t even feel the seam above the knee. These will help me to survive winter running with a smile on my face.

Too many seams - by , Nov 09, 2018

This is partially my fault for not noticing that there is a horizontal seam about 2-3 inches above the knee. You can kind of see it in the blue/green tights picture but it's more noticeable on the purple ones. I don't have small legs and that seam presses into my legs. It isn't comfortable or flattering. The waist band is also texturally & audibly different than the rest of the paper - it sounds like it's stuffed with paper & feels different than the original Bullet tights or even the Bullet capri. It isn't a deal breaker but something I noticed. I'm returning these due to the weird thigh/knee seam, that is a deal breaker. They don't appear to be see-through unlike the original Bullet tights so there's that at least.

Great fit!!! - by , Nov 06, 2018

I really like the tights but running in them during the Marathon the stitching above the knee was a little aggravating. I will definitely continue to wear them but not with any long runs.

great tights with pockets! - by , Sep 27, 2018

Only worn for one run so far (20mi) in 50ºF Boston fall weather, but super happy with the fit and feel of these tights. And the pockets! There are side pockets with no closures (big enough to fit my phone, though i didn't run with my phone in them) and a zip pocket at the back. They're light, so will probably be good for 32-50ºF weather. Below that, I would add wind pants or switch to warmer tights. The seam above the knee feels a bit weird while stretching, but I didn't notice it at all while running. I'm 5' 3" and they are a smidge long on me, which is pretty normal for tights that come in one length.
