I have tried a couple different shoes, but these are by far my favorite running shoes. I am now on my 4th pair and I love them so much. I would recommend these shoes to everyone.

Comfortable but not durable - by , Dec 18, 2017
2/ 5 Stars
Pros: Cushioning is just right (midsole is key here) Arch support - good for high arch as specified Toe box - roomy as specified (I have a wide foot) Upper - breathes very nicely Weight - very lightweight Cons: Upper - while it breathes nicely, it's durability is what leads me to score this shoe two stars. This was my first pair of Saucony running shoes after trying them all and shopping everywhere. Out of the box they were amazingly comfortable. They held true to that statement as I began racking up the miles. I average around 30 miles a week so not a marathoner by any means but for me, that's a fair amount. I was being relieved of previous upper Achilles pain! While they felt great running, I notice after about 6 months, very small rips beginning to form on the outside of the toe box (see pictures). Over the next 2 moths I watched the rips get steadily larger. Sure enough I found myself need to "hit the brakes" and stop abruptly. When I planted my foot, my foot busted through the toe box at the rip. I can only accredit this to the design which allows for a "pinch point" midway in the toe box. Very bummed, these were great shoes otherwise but I can't justify the cost if I only get 8 months of use.

Great feel, Durable Sole, but... - by , Dec 16, 2017
4/ 5 Stars
I got these months ago and from the box they were great, the 4mm drop, everrun whatever feels great and still does, plus the outsole wears super durable. It's a good fit and great for going fast or just cranking out miles. My pair's at a little over 350 miles now, and my biggest issue is that the upper is beginning to rip, near the edge of my little toe, and the weak spot seems to be shared on both shoes. Another slight issue is the sole yellowing, which I'm aware is pretty much guaranteed to happen to most clear soles with oxidation, but most of the offered Freedoms tend to use this blue tinted crystal rubber whatever. It's a non-issue with mine personally since it blends with the beige, but it was worth mentioning to me.

Sizing is nightmare - by , Dec 08, 2017
3/ 5 Stars
Sizing is terrible. Normal size is totally unwearable, size up half size to get tight snug fit. Eventually go up one full size to make it works. Main problem is due to the shallow and narrow toe box. There is virtually no support in this shoe, so don't expect to wear it over something more technical than tarmac. Shoe insole looks cheap for a shoe of this price range. Other than those, the cushion feels nice for short and long distance running. Isofit hugs the midfoot nicely. Quality looks good and durable enough to handle lots of miles. In short, please make more "human shape" footwear!

Awsome shoe. Light, fast and with good cushioning. - by , Dec 05, 2017
5/ 5 Stars
I have two pairs of Freedom ISo and I use them for medium and long runs. With my first pair I`m going to complete 800km in the next week since I start to use them, and they still fell pretty good. As a runner I was looking for a shoe that was durable, not very heavy and with some cushioning and the Freedom Iso is all that...and more. I´m going to buy my third pair soon. Congratulations to Saucony Team: great shoe!

Pain - by , Nov 17, 2017

I bought a pair of these a couple of weeks ago and was amazed how comfortable they felt. Like walking on a cloud. They also look great. I replaced my previous Saucony shoes that I loved so much with these. I immediately felt that although very comfortable when just worn, when I started running I actually felt less comfortable compared to my previous shows. Striking the road felt more painful for some reason, although these shoes are very cushioned. During my second run I felt strong pain in one of my feet, on the side, which never happened to me before. The same repeated on next run, on both feet. Next run I tried an old pair of running shoes and felt no pain at all. I fell in love with these shoes after buying them and now I'm left heart broken & with new, expensive pair of shoes that I am never going to use again, since I have no wish to injure myself.

Love em but Disappointed - by , Nov 08, 2017

I love these things! But they wore down in the toe box on both shoes after about 100 miles. I would love another pair but already know what is going to happen and for 160 clams I can't do it. I will have to for a different pair of everuns with a low heel toe drop.

Great shoe, BUT.... (3.5 star) - by , Nov 06, 2017
4/ 5 Stars
This shoe is great. It is light, comfortable, and was surprised it lasted longer than i thought with the 'thin' tread. My first pair I ran with lasted 250 miles and i probably could go another 50 or so. New pair runs just as good. My only gripe about the shoe is the tread. On NY streets, I will undoubtedly run into metal grates/steel cellar doors. This shoe slips when wet on metal. Other Saucony shoes like the Kinvara, I had no issue, even with ice and snow. Maybe it is either the type of rubber or design of the tread, but it is a downside to this shoe. I will still run with it, but watch carefully for the grates.

First of all I love this shoe and I own 4 pair BUT I noticed they after a month the smell terrible. That's even wearing socks! First pair of running shoes that I've owned that this happened especially when you pay BIG $$$$.

Marathon shoe - by , Oct 30, 2017
5/ 5 Stars
I bought my first pair in May, trained in them all summer and just ran my first marathon in them. This is now ‘my shoe’ unless Saucony makes drastic changes in a newer model, I bounced between the Kinvara, Hokas and Altras the last few years and they were all missing something for me. The Freedom is light, quick, supportive around the mid foot and responsive. I have 10 marathons under my belt so far and for the first time, my feet were not sore after the run.
