Great choice for a running shoe - by , Aug 27, 2019
5/ 5 Stars
The comfort and style of this shoe is outstanding. I ran 285 miles in this model. Two issues; the material ripped and created a hole above both my big toes at the ~70 mile mark, and significant wear marks occurred at the ~200 mile mark on the ball of my feet area on both soles that exposed the soft cushion under the rubber sole. Overall I am pleased with this shoe and will continue to buy Saucony. They’ve been on my feet, standing on the winner”s podium 30+ times. I’m a loyal Saucony shoe runner. I’ve had Guides 5 - 10 (~500 miles on each model), Guide ISO (~356 miles) and now this pair of ISO2’s. I just ordered the Hurricane 5s.

So far so good - by , Aug 27, 2019

I'm new to running and my current route takes me over 4 miles of gravel and pavement. I'm able to complete my run with little to no pain, in a little less time, and I feel my gait has improved. The laces stay tied and the quality seems overall good so far. I would definitely try another pair of Sauconys for my next purchase!!

Guide ISO OGs are Superior - by , Aug 24, 2019

I’ve ran in Saucony Guides for years and this is the first iteration I’ve been dissatisfied with. Went through two pairs in a few hundred miles by wearing through the heel cup fabric. The heel cup was lowered and fabric changed to a thinner slippery type that caused severe heel slip. Never had an issue with any other Guides went back and bought two pairs of Guide ISOs. Please bring back the deep secure heel cup and the jacquard fabric much more durable!

Not like the Guide 6 - by , Aug 21, 2019
2/ 5 Stars
I have owned a pair of the Guide 6's for 4-5 years now and thought I would invest in to a new pair of Saucony since my last pair was awesome. I decided to stick with the Guide's as these were recommended to me based on a fitting from Sole to Soul. Trying on the new ISO's in the store they felt good. after putting about 20 miles on them they are starting to give me blisters on the inside on my heel. I am taking a few days off from walking to let my blister heal. Not sure what to recommend but I wish I could get another pair of Guide 6's.

Grateful! - by , Aug 17, 2019

I have to admit that I use prescribed orthotics, but Saucony keeps me running into my mid seventies. Maybe not so fast, maybe not so long, but you guys will get me to the finish!

Very Disappointing - by , Jul 31, 2019

I have several pairs of the original ISO, which are great! The Guide ISO 2 was a great disappointment. It is not as stable, much less cushioning and generally not very comfortable. This is a real problem for a running shoe.

Sizing issues - by , Jul 23, 2019

The fit on these were weird. The heel was too loose and they ran a full size too short. Shame since I was excited about these shoes but I ended up with a black toenail due to the short fit of the shoe. Buyer beware!

Inferior to the Guide 10 in every way. Feels cheap. Clunky transition . My last pair !

Missed the mark - by , Jul 11, 2019

I have run in the Guide starting with the Guide 6, so have a lot of experience with the changes over the years. The Iso model had fewer overlays over the toebox which was a big improvement and made the shoe more comfortable. The Iso 2 has retained the improved toebox, but has increased the width of the spacing of the 'wings,' so that the laces must travel from the sides of your foot, and up and over your instep. Poor move - the wings should be CLOSER together, and wrap your instep, not be farther apart. Very uncomfortable! The back of the shoe cuts lower above my heel than the Iso. The Iso 2 does not properly secure my heel or provide the security over the middle of the shoe of previous models. Plus the new models have the thinnest, shortest, cheapest, slickest shoe laces I've ever seen. They won't hold a knot, so be prepared to buy new laces. Still a good platform, but all changes to the upper and structure of the shoe have compromised what has been a good shoe. I'm going to have to look for a new shoe. The Guide Iso 2 is a profound disappointment.

Great...for a while - by , Jun 14, 2019

I really like these shoes, but the wear on them isn't great. I bought these on sale in late 2018 and they sat in the box for months. Finally opened them Spring this year and they are incredibly comfortable, breath well, and fit perfect. I've been wearing Saucony Guide's for some time given the performance, but these shoes actually look sharp as well. If you need a light shoe with a wide toe box and good arch support (not too firm, but just right), these shoes will be your friends. As it is, I've already worn holes behind the heels in both shoes, which has never happened on any other shoe I've ever worn. I see from the other comments that this is common. It's about my only complaint, but for shoes in this price range, shouldn't see these type of wear issues.
