I must say I tried this brand about 8 years ago and I have never looked back. I usually buy the last version of the sneaker. The hurricane is by far the most comfortable sneaker I have ever worn. I did try a Nike and an Adidas springblade and there is absolutely no comparison. I will never switch this is an amazing brand. I tell my friends as well and when they try them they instantly become fans. though they usually say they have not heard of them. Great product keep it up. I am an occasional jogger but I wear these all the time. its like walking on pillows

Poor Durability - by , Apr 17, 2018
3/ 5 Stars
I owned a pair of the original Hurricane ISO shoes that were great, lasted well over 400 miles before I retired them out of caution. The Hurricane ISO 3 is a different story, I put holes through the heel of both shoes right around the 200 mile mark, disappointing as the rest of the shoe is still in great condition. I hope the next generation returns to the original quality construction.

I wish the old Hurricane pro grid was not tampered with - by , Mar 19, 2018
2/ 5 Stars
I been using Hurricane since the single number digits to #16 and on to ISO 1 Power Grid. Each generation improved on the lat- NOT this model. Due to illness I skipped ISO 2, and bought the 3. It is cushier and help the landing and the back part of the feet, but the front toes have no protections- they hurt shortly into the run The thinned out the tongue and other fabrics, the loops are precariously attached in loop rather that being part of a sturdy vinyl as in the bast. I, Long for old running design that made the Hurricane so unique to the pronators. Why tamper with a successful brand- it work and had many followings like this 70 year old writer.

Great shoe but awful durability - by , Mar 10, 2018

I bought these shoes to replace my ISO 2s which I had 4 pairs and was excited to move up to the 3s. The heel in the right shoe wore through after 30km which isn't ideal. My last pair lasted 800km and I wore the soles off them. Extremely disappointing in the quality of this product.

Solid marathon shoe - by , Dec 17, 2017

This is my 3rd pair of Hurricanes and probably my favorite. They are extremely flexible and yet, very comfortable. I've ran 4 marathons this year in them and they have not let me down.

Poorly constructed - by , Nov 18, 2017

I’m training for the Dopey Challenge at Disney World and I’ve been disappointed that two consecutive pairs of hurricanes have had an issue with the lining behind the heel of the shoes ripping apart, making it impossible to continue wearing the shoe because of heel blistering. Great shoe otherwise in terms of wear pattern, etc, just really disappointing to have such a defect issue for the premium price-point.

Love these! - by , Nov 17, 2017

I started running about 3 years ago. I ran through 2 pair of Triumph ISOs and worked up to a half marathon. My feet were hurting and the upper mesh on my Triumphs wore through. A running store recommended I switch to the Hurricanes and they're perfect! I'm 180 miles into these and training for a marathon. I'm not using any inserts (just what they came with). The shoe is wearing nicely. I expect to put 400 miles on them before I replace them with the latest version. I chose to go with a half size larger than I could have to make sure my toes had plenty of room to splay. Now that I'm running in the Minnesota cold weather, they're as comfortable with two pair of socks as they were with one. Thank you!

Great shoe, but same problem as the others with the heel - by , Nov 12, 2017

My first experience with running shoes was Saucony Hurricanes. After starting running at the age of 40 without knowing anything, I promptly blew out my knee... so after recovering from my stupid-tax, I went to a running shoe store and was introduced to these shoes. I have been running in them ever since, and now I am 48... This latest iteration was great... AGAIN... until a hole wore through the heel of the shoe... like other reviews have mentioned.

Would be my favorite shoe if I didn't burn a hole in the heel - by , Oct 12, 2017
3/ 5 Stars
My review is similar to a previous one. I loved these shoes out of the box. They felt like a great fit. The midsole is perfect for my 200 lb frame for stability and cushioning. For the first 3 months they were great until I burned a hole in the heel of the left shoe and the bunched up and ripped fabric caused a blister. I cleaned that out but have a hole to the plastic in the heel counter. I have had similar problems on previous Saucony models over time but not with other brands. These are great shoes but I can't keep buying them if the heel doesn't hold up.

Amazing Shoe Ruined by Material Failure After 50 Miles - by , Sep 11, 2017
1/ 5 Stars
These quickly became my favorite all time running shoes after a long search across many brands and models. However, after only 50 miles the interior heel liner of the right shoe wore a hole in it and the padding completely wore away. This created a hole that directly exposes my heel to the hard outer shell. It appears the left heel will repeat this failure. I am supremely disappointed as the fit and ride has been amazing. It is an additional disappoint due to the high price. This price point should be accompanied by high end performance and unquestioned durability. I hope this is an isolated incident and will return these shoes in exchange for a new pair, but I am not highly confident. (Men's Hurricane ISO3 Size 8.5 (D); 5'6" runner at 140 lbs.; mid-marathon training currently at 20-30 miles per week; I have posted this review on other sites).
