Very satisfied! - by , Mar 18, 2019
5/ 5 Stars
I just finished a little six mile stroll through beautiful city parks on a warm sunny day in the Willamette Valley of Oregon with my Kinvara 9's. I told my wife that the best part of the run was how good my feet felt. That is the best compliment that I can give any shoe. If I am on a run, and I am not thinking of pain in my aging (I am 55 years old and have run tens of thousands of miles over the years) size 14 feet, then I have a shoe that I love. I also have a pair of Kinvara 8's and love them both. The shoe allows me to land and take off with a very natural motion. The cushioning and toe drop are a real sweet spot for me. I also love the room allowed toward the mid foot and toe box. I have a wide foot with very narrow heels / ankles. The Kinvara straps up well for me. This shoe also does well for those of us who still like to do work on the track as well as plyometric exercises. Thank you Saucony for making shoes that work so well for me. Thank you for sticking with a focus on the world running!!

This is my first pair of Saucony. I’m impressed with the quality and comfort. The color scheme fits my personality and I’ll be buying another pair as backup soon.

I wanted to love them. - by , Mar 01, 2019

I really wanted to love them. I run cross country and track and just finished 2 half marathons in the hurricanes. I decided to try these since track with be shorter distances but by 1 mile into my runs the bottom of my feet were throbbing. I gave them 2 more tries and no change, in fact my whole foot was starting to suffer and hurt. I think I will have to go back to what I know works. I love saucony, just not this shoe. Unfortunately since I have worn them a few times I cannot send them back and they will not just be everyday shoes.

Not the same fit as past models - by , Feb 26, 2019

A little disappointed in the fit. I've been wearing Saucony's for a long time now. They have always felt like I was wearing slippers, really comfortable and fit well. But in these my foot is sort of between sizes. I had to buy a half size larger than normal and they just aren't as good as I expect from Saucony. Probably won't buy this model again.

Lightweight and snappy ride - by , Feb 18, 2019

When I first opened up the box, I considered returning the Kinvara 9s. Though lightweight, I was concerned they would be too firm and not supportive enough (I'm 6'2", 180). Then I took them on a run, and to my delight, they fit great and were comfortable from mile 1. This past weekend I took them on a 22-mi training run, and no problems to report. They are significantly better than the Breakthru4s I've been running, and I favor them over another pair I've been running in from a different mfg. They are my go-to trainers. If you're looking for a lightweight, comfortable daily trainer, give these a go.

Shoes aren’t that great - by , Feb 16, 2019

Wow with all the great reviews I thought these would be the ones to get. First run was on the treadmill for 7 miles. Felt comfortable during the run but afterwards I felt an issue with the toe next to the my big toe. (It’s a bit longer than the big guy). Yup, a shorter toe box gave me a bruise and it hurts and turned black and blue. Plus, the other shoe “squeaks” every step I take. Very average to below average unless I got knockoffs from the Saucony website. Don’t recommend. Save your money.

Best Shoes I’ve Owned - by , Feb 12, 2019

Most comfortable shoes I’ve owned, they fit true to size and have great support. Versatile enough for treadmill, pavement or light trail running. Would purchase again.

Light Comfort and Speed - by , Feb 05, 2019
5/ 5 Stars
I put these shoes on at a local running store and took ten strides in the parking lot. I immediately fell in love. They are broken in the first time they go on your feet. I have done 20+ mile runs and sprints in these. They fit both kinds of runs equally well. These are probably my favorite shoes ever. I bought a second pair. Only slight downfall is they really went downhill fast after 225 miles. I usually beat up my other favorite brand for over 400 miles. I forced and extra 75 miles to get my first pair up to 300 and it was probably a big mistake and my final month running in these left me flat. Otherwise, be prepared for the most enjoyable 200 miles you can put on a shoe!
