    These are really comfortable

    I bought the wide version - they run narrow, more like a slightly wide B width, but are just wide enough that my toes don't fall asleep. There's very little arch support, but I use them with superfeet, which makes them very comfortable. I wore them out to our very dry, hilly, gravelly/sandy trails and they work great. There is also enough cushioning that rocks are easy as well.

    Good for trail running, but a solar trap!

    These shoes are comfortable to run on trails. They have great grip on rocks and slippery surfaces which I love! However, when you are running on a hot day or running on a trail at high elevation, when your closer to the sun, your feet get super hot! I really wish these shoes would have more color options. I would not buy these shoes again because of how they soak up the heat like a solar trap!

    Great Fit

    I have had many previous generations of this shoe, and I love them! I’ve always purchased locally, but the stores have never carried the wide size option. This time, I purchased from the website specifically to try the wide size option. They are fantastic! I’ll never be able to wear a medium width shoe ever again.!

    Some good features , some not

    I ordered the wide- as my forefoot is wide, but not the rest of my foot. :( The overall width was wide, I just wish the toe box area was wide. I order 1/2 size up as I wear thick socks. These do not compare to the original thru to the 6 pf peregrine- There is something different. Overall the treads are the same lugs. the 4mm heel drop I am used too! It seems a 1/4 inch not as wide as the 6's . I am hoping it gets me through the trails. Wish more colors available for wide though

    Sadly, not my Peregrine, what happened to you?

    I have been a Saucony Peregrine fan for 5yrs+. I would tell anyone anywhere who would listen, this shoe is different.... you will love it! Not so much. I climbed Mt Humprey's, the highest peak in Arizona. Rough terrain and lots of rocks. I have the cuts & bruised to prove it. My shoes were 5 months old Purchased 1/2/20. I literally feared my safety on some surfaces. This sole is NOT what I have loved about this shoe. If I had an opportunity to exchange them I WOULD it is past the 90 days but these shoes will not be on a serious hike with me again. Half Dome would have been a huge mistake had I chose to wear Peregrins.
