This is my first true running shoe and I absolutely love them! Couldn't really ask for a better shoe! I've had them for almost four months now and I can't complain one bit!

Best shoes I've used - by , Apr 02, 2015

I have had these shoes since late October and have logged over 300 miles, 2 10ks, 1 half on them. I have another 1/2 in a week or so and will then replace these with another pair of Ride 7s. Until walking around the store with these, I was a true and loyal New Balance wearer, not anymore! These shoes are very light, have a excellent cushioning.

Cushioned yet not too soft, light and responsive - by , Jan 27, 2015

I have run into you n this shoe for 3 weeks and I really enjoy the feel of the shoe that allows me to enjoy a more natural running gait. I have sensitive metatarsals on the right foot yet I have adequate cushioning on asphalt and even concrete. The shoe is light enough for intervals and has excellent comfort for long runs. I am a masters runner running between 25-30 miles per week.

The Ride 7 is by far my favorite running shoe. After running on two different pairs and finishing a full marathon I figured it was time for a review. I am a bigger runner at 6'5" 225lbs so tread wear is always an issue. With the Ride 6, I was lucky to hit 175 miles before the shoe needed replaced. The mileage I am getting out of the 7's I expect them to last 300-350 miles. With that being said, I would get a little more out of my Ghost 6's so I have to ding the Ride 7's since I know there is tread out there that last longer. Otherwise this is the best shoe I have used and will continue to use. Great for short, long, whatever runs and also on race day.

Too narrow - by , Nov 05, 2014

The Ride 7 is a good shoe with one major draw back....it's too narrow. I have a normal width foot and this shoe feels too tight for me. I know it comes in wide, but I've never had to use a wide shoe in any of the 30 plus running shoes I've had. I would still recommend this shoe, but would advise to try it on before you buy.

im always trying to find the best shoe for me, i was running in asics noosa tri 9, but i wanted something a tad bit softer and i was divided between Brooks transcends and saucony ride 7's, lucky for me i was able to try both on at my local sporting goods store, one i put on the ride 7's i went straight home and ordered a pair. couldn't find the orange pair in stores. they came in on a Saturday, and immediately we out and put 8 miles on them. great shoe right out of the box, no break in required, im certain they will just get better with time. i generally put 20 miles a week on a pair of shoes.

Saucony, you did it to me again. I have been using your shoes for 10+ years, and this is the third time I have had to change models because you made an update of the shoe I was wearing. Why do you keep making the cushioning thicker and softer with each shoe update? You did it when you went from the Triumph 10 to the 11 and you did it again going from the Ride 6 to the 7. The Triumph 11 was so bad that I actually had to stop using them after a month and switch to the Ride 6 (my previous shoe was a Triumph 10). Now the Ride 7 feels just as jello-y as the Triumph 11. I understand that there may be a need for more cushioning with many runners, but instead of changing an existing model to meet that need, why not come out with a new model. Now I am forced to use your Mirage 4. I can only expect that one day you will change that shoe, making it unbearable for me. I only hope you will have another model that I can use. If not I will have to switch to another shoe manufacture, which I am reluctant to do, as Sauconys are my "Cinderella" perfect fit running shoes. Thanks for the years of great products, but please stop changing all of your shoes!

Awesome shoe, except for one thing - by , Aug 04, 2014

I am a SAUCONY FAN, I have never ran in anything else, I love the Ride 7. Comfort is outstanding, response, outstanding. I have full width feet and love the flexible upper, it is super comfy for a full foot. 8mm drop is perfect. I have one issue with this shoe, it retains odor terribly. I have gone through 6 pair of Virratas, 4 pair of Kinvaras and numerous older version of the Ride and have never had the odor issue with a Saucony before. This shoe is hands down the Best Ride to date but after 75 miles they Stank.
