Work well in our North Florida heat and humidity - by , Jun 24, 2020

I wore these shorts during a 5 mile run the other day in extremely humid conditions where the temperature was 78 when I finished. I found these light shorts wicked well and the liner was most comfortable. Highly recommended.

Great for hot, humid runs on the Gulf Coast - by , Jun 16, 2020

Most of us run shirtless during the spring, summer and fall on the panhandle in Northern Florida. We're always looking for 1-3" split shorts that are light, allow freedom of movement and wick really well. These shorts are just that, perfect for our 80 degree, 80 % humid days when the dew point is in the mid-70's. Most importantly, they also have a zippered pocket on back that will hold my Subaru keys that don't fit in usual 2 1/2" interior flap pockets that most other splits use. I bought these because they have the zippered pocket. Now that Saucony has a super 2.5" short, how about a 1" version with a zippered pocket on the back?

Almost perfect. - by , May 29, 2020

Bought these shorts and they are definitely made for speed. The material is slightly stretchy and thin (but seems pretty durable). Just a heads up -the splits on the lateral side are pretty high. The rear pocket is a nice size and could probably hold 2 or 3 gel packs (too small for today's modern phones though). As for the style -- the asymmetrical red band adds a nice touch, and the waistband has "Saucony" embossed on it. The only complaint I have with these shorts is the lack of a drawstring. I purchased a 'M' and they are slightly too big but I didn't want to risk getting a 'S' and having to exchange it. Overall, I would recommend these shorts.
