Comfy shoes - by , Feb 23, 2017

I have had my saucony ISO 1's for a few years and love them! I wanted to get an opinion if the ISO 2's run a 1/2 size smaller? My ISO 1's are a size 10m and are fine, but ordered the same size in the ISO 2's and feel a bit smaller...is this true about these?

Comfy but small! - by , Feb 08, 2017

I love this shoes! Saucony shoes are definitely my number one brand for running. I run aprox. 4 miles each day. The shoes' cushion is perfect (I have knee problems so I need this) and they are not so wide as other models. My only problem is that is runs 1/2 smaller than usual, I also have another pair of saucony in a size 7 and I think that my feet would be more comfortable in a 7 1/2 in this model. But overall great shoes!

Poor quality; great customer service - by , Feb 03, 2017

I bought these shoes in June and by September, the bottoms of the shoe were falling apart. I took them back to the store that I purchased them in and got a brand new pair due to the defect. However, by January, I had a hole develop in the inside of the shoe, by my heel. I was getting blisters every time so I stuck some extra padding in there to prevent the rubbing. I chatted with someone online about my issue and he said that they can send a return authorization, and that I would be able to get a new model since I have had 2 issues with this model. I love the look and it was comfortable. I don't run as much as I used to, but I bike about 7miles/day 4x a week, row 2miles/day 2x week, and I lift almost everyday. I've had two other pairs of saucony shoes that had more stability and I never had a problem with either of those. The customer service was wonderful so far, so I will see how the return process goes

My Feet Can BREATHE! - by , Oct 27, 2016
5/ 5 Stars
I get hot feet so fast I thought about my feet during a run with every other shoe I've worn except these. The top part is meshy so when I run, the air hits my feet and instantly cools off, and maintains that intake. Also, if it's windy out, and I'm standing still, the shoe does the same thing--air intake and cools feet. The shoe is lightweight and when I adjust the shoelaces properly (tie has to be perfect or else I stop running--but that's me; preference), the shoe is a part of me, not on me. I don't think about my shoes or my feet when I run. I just run. Isn't that what we all want? I will test out the ISO 3s when I get to another running store, but I am confident in the ISO 2 because it is my perfect shoe. I spent over an hour in a store making sure I got the right pair. I'm over 100 miles in. They are amazing. Saucony, you win. Feet down.

disappointed in the Triumph ISO 2 - by , Sep 26, 2016

I recently purchased the Triumph ISO 1 and fell in love with the shoe, so I thought I would get the Triumph ISO 2. What a huge disappointment! The shoe base is the same in both versions. (the width and length) However the height of the fabric covering the toe box is shallower/ tighter in the Triumph ISO 2. The material is also different and doesn't have any give. So the shoe fit a bit snug in the width. About 2 miles into my run, my toe nail beds felt bruised. I guess they were rubbing on the inside of the shoe. The outside of my left knee was hurting, I think it may have been the IT band. None of this happened with the Triumph ISO 1. So to make sure, on my next run I put on the Triumph ISO 1's and had none of those problems. So today I returned the Triumph ISO 2. I hope the Triumph ISO 3's will be more like the Triumph ISO 1's and not like the Triumph ISO 2's.

I loved these shoes when I first got them. They are springy and cushy which is good for my plantar fasciitis but after less than a year of running in them (<15 miles a week) they are shredding on the sides and have a hole in the toe. I've never had running shoes that have given way to a hole forming, never mind the fact that I haven't even had them for a year. Disappointing especially for the price point.

What a ride! - by , Aug 23, 2016

As a person with multiple shin injuries and a foot size that falls between sizes, finding an appropriate running shoes is an adventure. The amount of discomfort I was experiencing in my older pair of running shoes was getting ridiculous - granted I had been running in them for 200+ miles. The Triumph ISO 2 initially felt very roomy in comparison to other brands I have worn. I typically practice the one-size up rule, and this was no exception. But honestly, what a ride. My first run outside in these shoes was a dream. Intentionally, I ran on mixed surfaces and tested out hills and various speeds. I experienced no discomfort in my legs or feet and felt the benefit of the extra cushioning in this shoe. I've worn these in a zumba class and during my time in the gym, and there has been no change in the level of comfort. My recovery post run seems to be shorter as well. Overall, a well-made shoe. It doesn't hurt that it's incredibly stylish - even at a larger size.

For years my feet have hurt and even with custom orthotics, running has been painful. A co-worker suggested I visit a local running store. I bought these shoes and my life has been completely changed. I run daily with no pain!! I am so happy with these shoes--they feel like a miracle.

coming out from an ACL revision, I was excited to run again. These shoes were recommended after changing my running style learned in a year's worth of PT. Loved them at first. Trained and ran Pittsburgh 1/2 2016. Cushioning is great and love the 8mm drop. Perfect for my trained running style. Have had the shoes for 3 months, wearing them for nothing else but running. The mesh on the sides of the shoe are ripping out. Not happy. Paid way too much for only 3 months use and not that much mileage.

I've spent a large amount of time finding running shoes and I fell in love with these as soon as I tried them on! They fit comfortably and they're also stylish (which is a plus!)
