Awesome Trail Running Shoe - by , Jun 04, 2019
5/ 5 Stars
Awesome Trail Running shoe with plenty of grip for mud and rocks. Love the wider toe box for longer runs and the stability in the heel is top notch. Best Trail shoe for Pennsylvania's Rocky terrain. Only negative is the weight is on the heavy side. Buying another pair before the new version is out!

Very happy with his shoe - by , Apr 23, 2019

Very happy with his shoe. It fits more true to size than some of their other models. Extremely comfortable shoe. If you complain about the weight just tell your self to get stronger

Excellent grip, lots of support, I can run 3 miles at a time after working in them all day and my feet feel great.

Very heavy - by , Jan 01, 2019

I had the xodus iso but they were work out so I thought I'd purchase the shoe again. I'm enjoying the shoes but I'm disappointed with how heavy they are as my old shoes felt so very light.

1200 Miles on the Appalachian Trail - by , Oct 11, 2018
4/ 5 Stars
I used the Koa's and these to walk the entire AT this year. I used two pairs of these to cover the last 1000 miles of trail. Overall, I was delighted and have little to complain about. If I only had one shoe to hike the AT in, it would be these. Awesome Elements: 1) Comfort: Fits like a glove and the midsole saves your feet on long days. After a few days (75 miles) these really stretched out in nicely. 2) Grip: These do not have massive spikes like the Koa's or Peregrines, but they have more contact area. When going up or down long stretches of slick, steep rock in Maine and New Hampshire these performed very well. 3) Durability: For the amount of abuse I put these shoes through, I was very impressed with how they held up. The uppers wore down first, but that's to be expected after 400+ miles. Areas for Improvement: 1) Heavy: These are heavier than the Koa's and Peregrines, but I found them to be more durable than the Peregrines. Worth it in my book. 2) Wider Toe Box: It's not as sexy looking, but having more room for the toes for long days on the trail is always a plus. 3) Toe Protection: A bit more sturdy toe protection would be appreciated if you plan on gearing this towards hiking.

Run anywhere! - by , Oct 01, 2018

I've gotten 2 runs in these, the second was an 8 miler on wet single track trail. These shoes gripped everything, saw other tracks slipping, these kept going up and down hills with no issue other than user error. Make no mistake, these are heavy shoes, but even with the weight they allow for a smooth easy run. Really like the everun cushioning. Wider toe box feel than the Peregrine 8s. Not as wide as the KOAs. If these fit your feet and don't mind the weight these are great shoes.
