Technology

8MM

Saucony 8mm Technology

Cushioning is distributed more evenly between the heel and forefoot in shoes with an 8mm offset. The result? Your body stays in a more balanced and comfortable position with every foot strike.

EVERUN

Saucony EVERUN Technology

A breakthrough in cushioning. Livelier and more responsive, with smoother landings and stronger takeoff.

FLEXFILM

Saucony Flexfilm Technology

A strong, lightweight material is melded to the upper, which allows for fewer layers in the shoe. The result is a seamless, flexible feel.

TRI-FLEX

Saucony TriFlex Technology

Increases force dispersion over a greater surface area while also delivering optimal flexibility and traction.

Ride 10 Infograph

Cushioning

The underfoot feel and amount of impact protection provided by the compressing materials between the foot and running surface.

Support

The level of pronation control built into the shoe. Pronation is the inward rolling of the ankle through the gait cycle.

Offset

The difference in height between the heel thickness and forefoot thickness of the shoe.

Been a good shoe but... This is my third pair of Saucony having made the switch from Asics. Couple of years ago. I’m a runner and these are my main road running shoes. I’ve had the Triumph ISO and the Ride 9’s previously so happily bounced into my local running shop in May 2017 to replace my 9’s with the Ride 10. When I first put them on it was like putting on an old friend, very comfortable. I have to wear a 7.5 in these (I’m normally a 6) so I would say they come up about half a size small. I’ve now done about 625km in them and I have felt that the forefoot has degraded much quicker than I would expect. They’ve gone “floppy” in the forefoot and I am now getting pain in the balls of my feet after about 6 miles. They really feel like they are coming to the end of their life and I would have expected at least another 300km out of them but I don’t think I’ll be able to make them last. I’m quite disappointed as they are expensive ans I’ve had much better wear out of my previous Sauconys. They began going downhill after only about 450km. I will be replacing imminently but unfortunately not with another pair of Ride 10’s... back to the drawing board!!

Disappointing Loved these shoes but after only a month or two the back of the inside of shoe wore away causing chafing on my heel. I was told this may have been as a result of me not tying my laces high enough and thus due to foot movement. Having acquired a further pair exactly the same thing has happened, again after a very short period of time. I admit I run regularly and for 6/7 miles at a time but I only use them to run in and cannot understand why they would wear so badly and only on one shoe.

When your go to shoe disappoints I was so excited to purchase my third pair of Rides (previously owned 6s and 8s). I purchased these thinking they would fit like a dream, as all my past Rides have. I bought these just as I was kicking off training for my 6th half marathon. I typically where my Rides on all my easy and long runs. My first couple runs both arches of my feet were hurting, but I thought I must have to "break these in" (mistake). I have continued to try to run in these shoes because it is hard for me to believe they are not as good as my past shoes. Still today, I have 46 miles on the pair and they are continuing to hurt my arches as well as give me the worst blisters I have ever had. Extremely disappointed in the changes made and now will need to find a new "go to" shoe.

Another Fantastic Guide This is my third pair of Rides and this one fits the best. I tend to have a high instep and somewhat wide foot; however, this pair of Rides is the most comfortable. The foot base is nice and wide/stable as well as the toe box. I wear a 9M, but sized up to a 9.5M in this particular shoe. I am a walker and walking 10k+ steps a day in this shoe is comfortable. I also teach middle school and when I wear these to work, they are very comfortable especially when I have to trek up and down to the first to the third floor several times a day. I was very happy to see a neutral tone such as the grey because I can wear it with anything.

Narrow heels, little arch, bunion, bony thin feet I loved the discontinued Cortana 4, have 4 pair. Had no luck with all the other Saucony shoes until I decided to try the Ride 10. Am not a runner. This shoe is very comfortable. My feet are happy toes spread, that says a lot for my problem feet. The only change I would make: The exterior side of the shoe under the ankle bone is a little low, The interior surround hits perfectly below ankle bone.
