Saucony “Saucony September Sixty” Strava Challenge (the “Contest”)

The following contest is valid only in United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Austria, Benelux, the United States, Canada and Italy (the “Challenge Countries”). To be eligible for this contest, you must be a legal resident of the Challenge Countries who has reached the age of majority in the province in which you reside. This contest will be construed according to applicable Challenge Countries laws. Submission of an entry constitutes acceptance of these official rules.

No Purchase Necessary to Enter or Win. A Purchase or Payment of Any Kind Will Not Increase Your Chances of Winning.

    1. HOW TO ENTER. The Contest begins at 12:01 a.m. GMT on Monday, September 9th and ends on Sunday, September 29th at 11:59 p.m. PST (the “Contest Period”). To enter for a chance to win, during the Contest Period, participants must have a Strava account. Obtaining a Strava account is free of charge and can be done by visiting Strava’s Terms and Conditions, available at, apply. In order to receive an entry into the Challenge, a participant will need to complete the challenge segment during the Challenge Period. Participants that complete the “Saucony September Sixty” Strava Challenge (the “Contest”) during the Challenge Period will receive one (1) entry into the Challenge. LIMIT: ONE (1) ENTRY PER PERSON, REGARDLESS OF THE NUMBER OF SEGMENTS COMPLETED. Only segments completed during the Challenge Period will count towards the segment challenge. Manual entries, treadmill runs, or runs marked 'Private' will not count toward the requirement. All kilometers completed during the Challenge Period must be uploaded to Strava no later than three (3) days after the Challenge Period ends. In the event of a dispute regarding an entry, entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the e-mail address by an internet access provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Any potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder.
    2. SELECTION OF PRIZE WINNERS. A random draw will be held on Friday, October 4th at 12 p.m. GMT in London, UK from amongst all eligible entries received by the Contest Closing Date. Odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. Sponsor will notify the potential winner via the email address provided on or about Tuesday October 9th, 2019. The selected entrants will be contacted by email of the contest submission within five (5) business days of the draw date. If a selected entrant cannot be reached within five (5) business days of the draw date, the selected entrant will be disqualified, and another entrant will be randomly selected until such time as contact is made by email with a selected entrant or until there are no more eligible entries, whichever comes first. The Sponsor will not be responsible for failed attempts to contact a selected entrant. To be declared a winner, each selected entrant must answer correctly, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a mathematical skill testing question. Acceptance of any prize shall constitute and signify winner’s agreement and consent that Sponsor and its designees may use the winner’s name, city, province, likeness, photo, Strava information, Challenge information and/or prize information in connection with the Challenge for promotional, advertising or other purposes, in any manner, worldwide, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, including the Internet, without limitation and without further payment, notification, permission or other consideration, except where prohibited by law. Winner will indemnify Sponsor, Released Parties (as defined in Section 8 below) and any licensee of Sponsor against all claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable counsel fees and legal expenses) arising out of any breach of these terms.
    3. PRIZE. PRIZE. If an athlete completes the Segment during the challenge period, they can opt-in to receive 30% off selected items purchased at Offer valid through October 31, 2019. This offer does not apply to any sale items, or the following styles; Liberty ISO2, Omni ISO2, Echelon 7, Muenchen 3, and Mad River TR. If an athlete completes the Segment during the challenge period, he or she can enter to win one of 20 pairs of the Saucony Triumph 17. ALL PRIZING VALID IN CHALLENGE COUNTRIES ONLY. Prizes cannot be transferred, substituted or redeemed for cash, except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize, or portion thereof, with a prize of comparable or greater value, in its sole discretion. Winner is responsible for its own costs and expenses associated with the acceptance or use of the prize that are not specifically stated above. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prize items. Prizes are provided “as is.” Winner may be required to produce government-issued identification.
    4. ELIGIBILITY. The Contest is open only to legal residents of the Challenge Countries who have reached the age of majority in their Province of residence. Employees, representatives and agents of Sponsor and its subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, agents, advertising and promotion agencies involved in this Contest and those living in the same household of such persons and contest judges are not eligible to enter or win. The entrant is the individual whose name appears on the Strava account. Only one (1) entrant’s name may appear on an entry. Submissions from fraudulent Strava accounts, non-personal accounts or accounts that have been inactive for 90 days preceding the Contest Period will be disqualified.
    5. CHALLENGE DESCRIPTION. The “Saucony September Sixty” Strava Challenge begins at 12:01 a.m. GMT on Monday, September 9th and ends on Sunday, September 29th at 11:59 p.m. PST (the “Challenge Period”). Times stated herein refer to each participant’s local time zone. Strava’s computer is the official time-keeping device for this Challenge.
    6. PRIVACY/PERSONAL INFORMATION. By entering this Contest, each entrant consents to the collection, use and disclosure by Sponsor of his/her personal information including name and contact information (including but not limited to Strava account name and email address for (a) the administration of this Contest including but not limited to the announcement of the winner and awarding and delivery of the Prize; and (b) unless otherwise indicated by the entrant, for market and consumer research purposes.     7. GENERAL. No correspondence regarding entries will be entered into with entrants, except as provided in these Official Rules. By entering the Contest, entrant agrees that Sponsor shall not be held responsible and entrant has no right to bring any claim, action or proceeding of any kind or nature whatsoever against Sponsor and/or its affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising and promotion agencies, participating retailers and all of their respective agents, employees, directors, officers, shareholders, successors and assigns (collectively the “Releasees”) in connection with this Contest. By entering and/or accepting the Prize, entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the Contest judge’s decisions and to release the Releasees from any and all liability, loss or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with their participation in this Contest or with respect to awarding, receipt, possession, use and/or misuse of the Prize or participation in any related activities. As a condition of awarding the Prize, the winner of the Contest will be required to grant Sponsor the right to use the winner’s entry, name, contact information (including but not limited to telephone number, address, email address and social media handle) image and likeness, voice and comments for advertising, publicity and promotional purposes without territorial, time or use limitations, including without limitation online advertisements, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend all or any part of this Contest at any time for any reason without prior notice, subject to applicable laws. In such case, Sponsor may, but shall not be required to, in its sole discretion, determine the winner in accordance with these Official Rules, from among all valid, non-suspect entries received prior to the event which warranted such action. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who (a) tampers with, or attempts to tamper with, the entry process; or (b) violates any of these Official Rules. All matters in relation to the Contest and the awarding of Prizes, including the eligibility of entrants, the declaration of a winner and any entrant’s compliance with the Official Rules, will be determined in the sole discretion of the Sponsor, whose decision is final.
    8. RELEASE AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY. Except where prohibited, by participating in the Challenge, entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Strava and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, promotion partners, advertising/promotion agencies, and prize suppliers, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties") from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Challenge or use of the prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Challenge; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) errors in the administration of the Challenge; (e) late, lost, stolen, illegible, inaccurate, delayed, misdirected or undeliverable, posts, mail; or (f) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Challenge. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Challenge and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorney’s fees. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.
