Technology

8MM

Saucony 8mm Technology

Cushioning is distributed more evenly between the heel and forefoot in shoes with an 8mm offset. The result? Your body stays in a more balanced and comfortable position with every foot strike.

EVERUN

Saucony EVERUN Technology

A breakthrough in cushioning. Livelier and more responsive, with smoother landings and stronger takeoff.

ISOFIT

Saucony ISOFIT Technology

Revolutionary fit system that morphs to the foot for a custom feel.

TRI-FLEX

Saucony TriFlex Technology

Increases force dispersion over a greater surface area while also delivering optimal flexibility and traction.

Cushioning

The underfoot feel and amount of impact protection provided by the compressing materials between the foot and running surface.

Support

The level of pronation control built into the shoe. Pronation is the inward rolling of the ankle through the gait cycle.

Offset

The difference in height between the heel thickness and forefoot thickness of the shoe.

My new favorite running shoe I recently switched a super plush cushion to something a little firmer but still soft enough to keep my feet from hurting. I love the everun and the love of this shoe is amazing. The only thing I would change is I would make the interior of shoe tongue seamless so shoe and shoe tongue would have no ridge inside. Finally a shoe that is plush with class color and style. I run 6 miles every morning before work and I so happy to switch from a ugly comfortable shoe to a beautiful plush shoe. Nice work.....other than not being seamless I love this shoe.

decent cushioned shoe senior runner, running for close to 40 yrs, started with Jazz 3000, loved them, liked the triangular studs on the sole, ran in the original freedom trainer great shoe nothing like current model, ran in first 7 models of Triumph's, then tried other shoes. Had hip replaced in Dec. 2014, started back running 3 months later in 1st Triumph ISO. Best running shoe Saucony came out with, then came everun and nothing has seemed the same since. Tried Ride 10's, liked them but need more cushioning and now tried the current iso 4 model. It's not bad, not as snug as Ride 10's and lacing very long, but more cushioned then previous models. Wish shoe companies would cater to senior citizens more instead of all the minimalist shoes. We still enjoy running too and just want a dependable cushioned shoe.

poor wear This is probably my 12th pair of Triumph shoes. I continued to buy them for the great fit and feel. My last pair became unwearable after about a month and under 50 miles. The back inside heel padding, near the top, wore through leaving holes on both shoes causing blisters. I had to purchase some adhesive moleskin and cut pieces into the shoes to continue to use them at all. This is the first pair I have experienced this with, and at the price paid, should have had much longer wear. Not sure if I will try them again.

Awesome shoe This version of the Triumph almost makes me feel like I'm on an elliptical. Other versions had plush cushioning but the cushioning in this shoe seems to mold around my foot. My favorite version so far.

Disappointed The ride of this shoe is harsh and firm. Seems to me the cushioning is bottoming out causing this. It’s painful to run in these. I’ve always liked the Triumph and have used it a lot, especially the first ISO Triumph. I’ll give this shoe two stars for the quality build and the good looks, but just can’t run in it. Hopefully the next version goes back to being something like the first ISO.
