Technology

8MM

Saucony 8mm Technology

Cushioning is distributed more evenly between the heel and forefoot in shoes with an 8mm offset. The result? Your body stays in a more balanced and comfortable position with every foot strike.

EVERUN

Saucony EVERUN Technology

A breakthrough in cushioning. Livelier and more responsive, with smoother landings and stronger takeoff.

FLEXFILM

Saucony Flexfilm Technology

A strong, lightweight material is melded to the upper, which allows for fewer layers in the shoe. The result is a seamless, flexible feel.

TRI-FLEX

Saucony TriFlex Technology

Increases force dispersion over a greater surface area while also delivering optimal flexibility and traction.

Guide 10 Infograph

Cushioning

The underfoot feel and amount of impact protection provided by the compressing materials between the foot and running surface.

Support

The level of pronation control built into the shoe. Pronation is the inward rolling of the ankle through the gait cycle.

Offset

The difference in height between the heel thickness and forefoot thickness of the shoe.

Comfortable for 5k short runs but nothing more I bought these last spring (april2017). They fit true to size, and they are comfortable for shorter runs. However, if I go on longer runs, like a 10K or more, they are a toenail ripper and caused blister i addition. I love them for walks and short runs though.

a good fit for a narrower foot These shoes have been a revelation. I was struggling with tendonitis on my Achilles and cramping in the arch all on my right foot. I was fitted with these by my local running shop and they have revolutionised my running. no more tendonitis or cramping. the narrow toe box that some reviewers have struggled with has actually worked in my favour as I have narrow feet and have always struggled with shoes that flap about like clown's shoes.

Disappointed Purchased in July, not from Saucony, from a running store. Not used for running, worn at work 5 days per week. Disappointed that a hole has developed in the fabric on the top of the shoe.

You missed the mark on this one Saucony. I've been running in Saucony shoes for 6-7 years. I'm a collegiate cross country and track athlete. I run every day about 30-40 miles per week. I have never had a problem with a pair of Sauconys until now. I have never gotten a black toenail or as many blisters as I have with this shoe. The narrow toe room causes it to rub on my toes and gave me several painful blisters this season. For some odd reason the narrow fit would squeeze my heel and cause pain when I was and wasn't running. For the first time in my running career I had to buy inserts. I don't know what all you have changed Saucony but I think you should consider going back to the drawing board for the next shoe.

Great shoe for getting in the volume The guide is all about the cushioning - the ever run technology makes distributes all force that comes from pounding the pavements. It provides that a little bit stability whilst still feeling responsive and light. I would use this as a day to day trainer for getting in the miles and it's ideal for a Sunday long run. If needed, it's certainly got a nice bit of pace in them to drop some faster miles. Really long lasting, I've ran >600 miles and cushioning is still like it was box fresh. A great tool to have in your running tool box
