Technology

8MM

Saucony 8mm Technology

Cushioning is distributed more evenly between the heel and forefoot in shoes with an 8mm offset. The result? Your body stays in a more balanced and comfortable position with every foot strike.

EVERUN

Saucony EVERUN Technology

A breakthrough in cushioning. Livelier and more responsive, with smoother landings and stronger takeoff.

FLEXFILM

Saucony Flexfilm Technology

A strong, lightweight material is melded to the upper, which allows for fewer layers in the shoe. The result is a seamless, flexible feel.

TRI-FLEX

Saucony TriFlex Technology

Increases force dispersion over a greater surface area while also delivering optimal flexibility and traction.

Guide 10 Infograph

Cushioning

The underfoot feel and amount of impact protection provided by the compressing materials between the foot and running surface.

Support

The level of pronation control built into the shoe. Pronation is the inward rolling of the ankle through the gait cycle.

Offset

The difference in height between the heel thickness and forefoot thickness of the shoe.

This shoe is the best.1 As a mild pronator, this shoe delivers maximum comfort and stability. The everun soles provide the perfect amount of spring making your runs feel faster. The toe bed is slightly wider than the Guide 9 equalling more toe space, and is made of super breathable mesh that keeps the toes cool. They look rad too. I recommend the heck outta this shoe.

Very happy This is my first experience in a Saucony shoe and I've been very pleased. I'm actually a neutral runner and next shoe I'll probably go with a different pair but not because there is anything wrong with the Guide, just that I don't pronate. I'm about 60 miles into these shoes and I run 5 x week and 4-6 miles at a decent pace. One of the things I really like is that they are very solid, seem to have a lot of energy/ spring but don't weigh that much. It's a pretty good combo. I would definitely recommend these shoes to someone looking for a nice mix of stability, performance and light weight.

great stability and cushion without the bulk I have been very impressed with the Guide 10. I am a masters age sprinter, but try to keep some fitness, though after a typical 4-6 mile run with other shoes, the rest of the day and most of the next, my knees ache and sometimes swell. With the Guide 10, I have finished runs and not had pain in my knees, allowing me to get back to back mileage. Fantastic shoe with the feeling of stability and cushion, without the bulky feel you would expect.

Ran a marathon in these right out of the box If you want to be or are a long distance runner, please consider this review: I've run almost exclusively in Nike, but in September 2016 I ran a half marathon in a Lunarepic shoe and got injured in them.. I noticed that anything over the 10K mark was just not any good for me as it would lead to knee and ankle pain in any of my shoes of that brand. Because I hadn't really run since September 2016 anything over 6 miles, I didn't think I was able to run a marathon I had signed up for months prior (CIM). Two weeks before, however, I decided I would try it, despite not having trained. When I went to a running store, they were baffled that I even considered trying to run long distances in the previously mentioned brand. Based on a running test and previously mentioned injuries, I was referred to multiple brands and shoes, but something felt right about these Guide 10 shoes. I'm right in between having a wide foot and not, but these felt perfect and were extremely comfortable. I saw another review on the Saucony website where a guy said he felt he could run a marathon out of the box, so I thought, "why not?" I bought them a week before the marathon and wore them for about an hour a day every day and stretched in them as well as walked short distances or jumped around in them. I ran my first marathon in these a week later, and finished with absolutely ZERO knee and ankle pain. I ran it in under 4 hours with zero training, and if I hadn't had bad leg cramping about 10 miles in (which I blame solely on not training or preparing, this also happened during the half marathon), I would have qualified for the Boston Marathon. This was my first ever pair of Saucony shoes, but they've got themselves a lifelong customer. I couldn't be happier!

Great shoe for sprint training! As a track and field jumper, I am constantly replacing my training shoes as they wear down. I just picked these up at my local running store and have used them for a little while now. My first impressions are that they fit slightly narrow around the front-outside of the foot. The shoe has a great "hug" to your foot, and they feel light yet robust underneath you. I used them for a couple of sprint workouts and can honestly say I am very impressed with the cushion and responsiveness of the shoe. They enable me to sprint with a clear mind, knowing that the stability is there to stay. I would recommend!
