Almost perfect for me

Great shoe overall, even able to run to trails on pavement without the lugs causing any problems. Love the low drop. Upper is really durable, and I actually like the funky colorway. That said, if you're like me and really feel the need to crank down your laces tightly in order to feel secure, I'd look elsewhere. I know this may be uncommon with most runners, but I've always tied my laces quite tight. The eyelets are not well reinforced and began to stretch out immediately. They will no doubt tear out (upper two) long before the awesome Vibram sole wears out. I've tried different laces and different lacing techniques, but now I'm resolved to wearing them as long as they last and them recycling them. Ho hum, my search for my ideal trail shoe continues. But, trail runners looking for a great, grippy shoe that is tough (minus the eyelets, IMO) you should try this shoe. It could well be just right for you.
