Upper wore out quickly I really liked these shoes while they lasted which wasn't very long. They are comfortable right out of the box, fit well and handle great. What wasn't so great is the upper split where it meets the rubber toe guard. I only had them for a couple of months, switching between several pairs so I'm not wearing the same pair every time. Not sure what happened to this pair that caused them to blow out like this.

I wanted to like this shoe, I really did. I ordered this shoe after wearing the Peregrine 6 and really liking the Peregrine 6. I ordered the same size that I was wearing in the Peregrine 6. I am training for a trail marathon and was looking with a shoe that had some additional cushion for long runs. These shoes looked perfect. The fit on the Xodus ISO was pretty good except for the toe box was too tight. I thought that it may stretch out with some runs but unfortunately it did not. I have put around 60 miles on the shoes and my toes do not feel good on long runs. Just too cramped with my toes hitting the front and not much height over the toes. If I lived in a location where I could have tried on different sizes I probably would have gone a half size bigger. However, I ordered these online without being able to try them on first. Overall I did like the shoes and the amount of cushion feels great for long runs. The next time I can make it to a running store I may try on a half size bigger to see how they feel. As for now it is back to my other worn out shoes for my long run training.

Great improvement over the Xodus 6.0 This is a great upgrade, bringing it closer to the light and quick feel of the Peregrine 6, while still retaining the stability and protection of the Xodus series. The upper is very comfortable, and the new ISO lacing system just great. I had an all time favourite with the Peregrine 6, light, protective yet not too stiff, and excellent grip. The fitting, the roomy toe box, is what I loved the most. The only issue I had with those is they tend to have a short life on very aggressive trails. That is not a problem for the Xodus ISO. They are stiffer than the Peregrine, but still very light weight and a great choice for very long runs, as they'll provide better support when the legs get tired. Also, the outsole, although made of the same material of the Peregrine 6, is more resistant (the diamond shapes in the Peregrine tend to get ripped apart quite quickly). My only complaint, and damn, it's an important one: why did Saucony make the Xodus ISO more narrow than previous versions?!? The wide toe box was excellent... this new version makes me feel I should have gone a 1/2 size bigger than normal. Don't get me wrong, the shoe is comfortable. But one reason I don't like to wear some competition shoes (Salomon I'm looking at you!) for long runs is that their very pointy and narrow shape on the front, cramps my toes in there. Saucony had the best shape with the Peregrine 6 and Xodus 6. I'm afraid they might be going the wrong direction here... Keep it in mind. Nevertheless, a great shoe that I highly recommend.

Incredibly Comfortable Trail Running Shoes I wore these out of the box for a hilly, rocky 9-miler. It was in the 80s and humid, but I had zero issues with blisters, which I am prone to, especially in the heat. The shoes were very stable over jagged rocks and roots, yet the uppers felt exceptionally comfortable, even slipper like. (I recently started wearing Triumph ISO 2s on the road, and the upper on the Xodus felt similar to those.) I bought these 1/2 size up to allow a room for my feet to swell, which worked out well.

This product is an overall good running shoe I have taken these out on the trails a few different times already since purchasing them this week. I noticed they were great on downhills and flat ground, but a little uncomfortable on uphills around the heel. Overall I really enjoy them and feel they'll be a great trail running shoe once I've worked them in a bit more.
