Good for a few months - by , Feb 27, 2019

The shoes felt good out of the box and for the first 3 1/2 months but I busted through the side of one of them at about that time. I know it mostly has to do with how my foot strikes the ground but I would like if the fabric held up until I at least wore the rubber down some more.

Excellent stability shoe - by , Feb 09, 2019

I’ve got about 200 miles on my guides and switched from brooks gts. I enjoy these shoes much more. Style and comfort while running is exceptional.

I usually LOVE this shoe - by , Jan 09, 2019

I continually go back to buy every iteration of this shoe. At first I thought it fit a little bit more snug and was fine with it. After some use with it for about a day or so, I noticed how much it was actually tight and pushing in through my knuckles on my feet. Narrow and tight from my big toe knuckle all the way to the pinky toe. Because there are no returns on used shoes and I had given them a try for a couple days, I was really put off to try another Saucony shoe.

Ouch! - by , Jan 03, 2019

What happened to the soft Guides we used to get? Saucony has continued to firm up the Guide until they are no longer any fun to run in. The Guides before the first ISO were soft to run in, yet still provided stability. The Guide is going the wrong direction for my taste.

Blistering but not ready to give up - by , Nov 17, 2018
3/ 5 Stars
I've used all kinds of stability shoes in the past and after feeling disappointed by another brand, made the switch to Saucony. I liked the fit and feel to begin with and had, up until recent, some really nice runs. The break in time took a while and a few weekends ago found my feet getting blisters on the arch where the show upper and sole meet. I know some others have had similar problems, but it was definitely uncomfortable and unexpected. Otherwise, as my feet get back to fighting form, the show itself has been a positive run. A little stiff to start, but opening up nicely. I'm going to try doctoring my pair with some medical tape to see if it helps, but for other runners, you may find them to be a good option!

Excellent update! - by , Oct 12, 2018

Excellent successor to the guide series. I have run in the guide for the last few years (rotating between the Ride and Guide as my daily driver) and the Guide ISO 2 is a solid, durable, comfortable workhorse. If you like the Ride ISO, this shoe has a very similar ride with a touch of stability. The Guide ISO 2 has a MUCH better upper fit than the Ride ISO (IMO) and disappears on foot similar to the Kinvara 9 (my tempo/race shoe) with a cushioned but firm ride. The shoe fits standard Saucony sizing, no issues with it being too short (Saucony Freedom 1 & Triumph ISO 5). The black/grey color way also has a luminescent jacquard upper, which is a nice touch for us 5:00am runners. All in all, good job from Saucony on this one, very pleased! 33 y.o. 2:41.00 marathoner with flat feet.
