My toe box issues are solved! - by , Feb 20, 2019
4/ 5 Stars
In the last 2 weeks, I have returned THREE pairs of shoes, each of a different brand. I hadn’t thought about trying Saucony, but when I was at the shoe store yesterday, and starting to lose hope, I decided to try on the Saucony Kinvara 10. All I can say is wow. Thank you. I was struggling to find a lightweight and responsive but still fairly soft and cushy shoe that I could use for faster workouts and 10k/half marathon races. This just might be my dream shoe. I finally found a shoe that doesn’t smash my toes when I slide them on. Saucony, I think you are my new go to running shoe brand. I can’t wait to try a pair of your trainers, like the Ride ISO 2. Thanks again, Alex

Perfect balance of stability and lightness - by , Feb 18, 2019

I love the Kinvara line, and when my old Kinvaras had reached end of life, I ordered these to replace them. I do a lot of cross training, so I was a little concerend to read that they might be a little wider than the previous ones. But I have no problems with these being too wide. They are perfect, and oh so comfortable. Somehow this shoe fits like a glove, gives the stability I need for my cross training, and is super light. Best version yet of this line.

I love kinveras!!! - by , Feb 05, 2019

I have to say I love kinveras!!! I am a registered nurse and I worked as a CNA all throughout nursing school. I have a pair of kinveras for work and a pair for running. These shoes are the best shoes ever. I had issues with plantar fasciitis considering I am on my feet for 12 hours plus, I run and I have high arches. But once I switched to kinveras I have not had any issues. I highly reccomend these shoes. I have reccommended these shoes to a couple nurses I work with who have the same issues and they also fell in love with them. I will forever wear kinveras.

I returned this shoe because it was too long. I've worn this size for years in a Kinvara. I ordered the size 8 as I really like this shoe and hope it will fit.

I like the new 10! - by , Jan 14, 2019

The 10 is much more comfortable than the pair of 9 I had. For my foot, there was more room in the toe box.

Responsive, superior ground feel, and fast! - by , Jan 11, 2019

I am a huge fan of the Kinvara, and it has been my primary running shoe for the past 3 years. The 9 was probably my favorite version of the Kinvara, and the 10 retains many of those features that I loved about its predecessor, including: flexibility, responsiveness, and ground feel. The sizing and fit are slightly different with the 10, due to a few things. First, the PRO LOCK lacing feature has been removed - while many people disliked the PRO LOCK, I liked it because I have a narrowish foot and this allowed me to cinch the fit through the arch area. However, I have been able to use just the laces to get the arch area to fit the way I need it, so possibly nothing lost there. Secondly, the toe box is larger - maybe slightly longer (closer to 1/4 size longer, than a full 1/2 size longer - I wore an 8 in the Kinvara 9 and might try a size 7.5 in the Kinvara 10 next time), and is also less "pointy" so there is more room for all of your toes, instead of the toe box cutting sharply in on the sides. Lastly, there is the addition of ankle fusion padding around the sides of the ankle collar - when I first saw this addition, I was afraid it would feel bulky or restricting - but actually, once I begin running, I never think of it again, and I think the ankle fusion may have the benefit of preventing small rocks from making their way inside the shoe. The overall responsive, lightweight feel of the Kinvara has been retained, and the 10 seems slightly lower to the ground (possibly due to the outsole having less rubber?), as well as more conformed to my feet (maybe due to the new Form Fit footbed?), which, both combined, give it a really snappy feel. One thing I noticed that I prefer in the 10 over the 9 is the lateral/inside aspect of the foam underfoot - on the 10, there is less "flare" to the foam; on the 9, I felt the width of the foam almost forced my forefoot to the outside. I have the Navy/Mint colorway, and really love this shade of Navy blue - perfect for disguising dust and dirt as I use these on trails and gravel quite often. Overall, great shoe, and I'll definitely be keeping with the Kinvara in 2019! Thanks, Saucony!

Love Kinvara - by , Jan 04, 2019

I’ve been wearing Kinvara’s since the 5’s when I switched to them for their immediate wearability on long runs, wide toebox, lightweight comfort, durability and speed. The 10’s look great-although I run on a crushed gravel trail so I’m looking forward to a bright color as white already looks dirty. The toe box almost feels too wide even for me, making me wonder if I should have bought a half size smaller. The cushioning around the ankle-at the tongue (longer than previous models) and the Achilles-feels a little bulky to me. The platform feels wider to me, as well. This version is taking some breaking in for me so I’m sticking with my 9’a through my upcoming Half then will try them out again.
