My third pair of Kinvara 11s! - by , Jul 31, 2020
4/ 5 Stars
I've purchased both the St. Patty's Day pattern and the Patriotic pattern and bought the sky grey as an every day pair to run in. They're just as comfortable as the others, but the "grey" is more sea foam green than I would have liked. Definitely keeping them, though, as they're very comfortable.

Amazing shoe - by , Jul 30, 2020

Great quality shoe. I love everything about it but there is a very faint squeaking noise of the shoe insert Agassi at the shoe when walking. Only able to hear it in very quiet places. My favorite pair of shoes yet though!

Great shoes - lightweight but still supportive - by , Jul 29, 2020
5/ 5 Stars
I have been wearing stability shoes for 10 years (mostly the Hurricane) after I had plenty of injuries due to overpronatio. As an adult, I've realized that my form has changed over the years and I need less stability and a more lightweight shoe. I tried the Guide, which I liked as a shoe, but was still more of a stability shoe than what I needed. I took the leap to buy the Kinvara 11 and I have loved it so far. I don't run very high mileage these days, so I can't speak to anything over 10 miles, but I've loved the shoe so far. It seems to be holding up (I've only had the shoe for 2 weeks, but I'm feeling less foot and joint pain, so it seems to be a better fit for me!) I bought the light blue, which I love. It fits a little snug - I'm not sure I would go another 1/2 size up, but I definitely wanted to indicate that it has a smaller fit slightly than my old shoes. Overall, I'm a big fan of these and I hope they continue to work out well!

Excelllent running shoe. - by , Jul 24, 2020

All my expectations were met. The fit is perfect, the cushioning is just right, weight. I just can’t say enough. There is a reason why I have been a Saucony devotee for years.

Zero Stability - by , Jul 21, 2020

The sneaker feels great when you put it on and is fine for walking, but you will experience a mechanical failure when running. Even a slight turn or step off a straight line or level pavement will possibly end your workout and send you to the ER.

I miss the Kinvara 9 - by , Jul 20, 2020
3/ 5 Stars
Keep in mind that this review is coming from someone who loved the Kinvara 9. The 10 was not my favorite so I bought all of the version 9 I could find. The 11 is even worse for me. It feels bulky and over complicated. There is some weird harshness/rubbing under the forefoot that I have never experienced with the Kinvara before. The tongue is insanely thick and this makes the shoe feel really tight on the top of my foot. Loosening the laces causes my heel to slip. There is also an odd spot where the tongue is attached that rubbed the side of my foot and caused a lot of pain. This has happened in other shoes for me so I’m sure that’s something to do with my foot shape. But it has never happened in the Kinvara. This doesn’t feel like a Kinvara any more and now I’m trying to find a new favorite. Please go back to what this shoe used to be!

Wore out fast, quality has declined. - by , Jul 20, 2020

I started wearing Kinvaras in 2010. I love them they are my favorite shoe and they have always given me at least 300 miles of wear. I even took one pair with me to Officer Candidate School for the Marines In 2011 and they held up wonderfully even through very muddy trail runs. I was disappointed with the quality of the 10s but I read a review that said the issues had been fixed in the 11s and that the sole was more durable so I gave them a try. At about 120 miles the shoes were completely worn out. I’m so disappointed this has always been my favorite shoe and for that first hundred miles they were great but I can’t afford to buy a $110 pair of shoes every month. Maybe I’ll try a different model in the future, but I guess I’m off to the running shoe store to test out some different brands and find a pair that’s hopefully as comfortable but will get me more than 120 miles before I have to buy a new pair.

Shoes were okay - by , Jul 17, 2020
3/ 5 Stars
Big changes from the Kinvara 10’s in fit to foot. The 11’s are more tight all around the foot, maybe due to the quilted material sections? The sole is a very soft material and I pick up rocks and burrs that embed into the sole. Since it is a very light shoe, you can feel this debris through to your foot. I have to stop frequently to remove debris from the sole for comfort. Sole’s traction also does not hold up against high miles on roads. Shoe is a better track shoe than a road shoe.
