A superbly comfortable shoe - by , Aug 24, 2019
5/ 5 Stars
The flexibility, heel shock cushioning, padding and lack of structure make for an exceptionally comfortable shoe. Wearing these I feel both the freedom of a shoe which moves like my bare feet and gives a return to help me move on any surface. I am in full control.

My first pair of non-Nike running shoes in more than 20 years and, I have to say, I've been missing out. I've only had the new Saucony Freedom ISO2's for a few weeks, but I love everything about them.

Comfy shoe, especially for long runs. Not great longevity. - by , Jul 26, 2019

I'm a big fan of the Kinvaras, but wanted a bit more cushioning as I get into marathon training so I bought the Freedoms. They are very comfortable, especially for long runs. The cushioning is great and the upper feels almost like a sock. My big complaint is the lack of longevity for the outsole. I've put 200 miles on my shoes since buying them in May, and the outsole is nearly worn through on the outer edge of the shoe, I'd say I have about 50 miles left in the shoe before having to retire them. Which is a bummer, because the upper is still in great shape and the cushioning still feels just as good. Unfortunately, I probably won't buy the Freedom again given the cost to mileage ratio. Especially because they are good for long runs, so the mileage racks up quickly. I was also considering the Liberty as I have some mild pronation, but I suspect the Liberties would have the same problem since they have the same outsole.

Top of the food chain for running shoes. - by , Jul 26, 2019

I’m about 50 miles into my new ISO’s and can honestly say they’re like a new toy, I can’t wait to use them every day. I had to decrease my miles. I had a pair previous and ran 500 miles with them. Like any great thing in life you cannot replace them, you can only succeed them. I am looking forward to 500 more miles! Thank you.

My feet love flexibility (stabilitiity is for someone else) and these shoes have it, along with plenty of heel shock cushioning.

Best shoe ever! - by , Jul 20, 2019

I bought the ISO 2 for my husband as I still have the original. Clearly, it’s time for me to upgrade, but I wanted to get him a pair first. He has worn them on the daily, whether it be for work or working out. He prefers them over all his other brand name shoes. While this is a running shoe, we use these as our “everyday” shoe as well because the cushioning and support is so great. The sizing is more true to size for the ISO 2 as the original ran small. I would def recommend. In fact, in addition to purchasing a second pair for myself, I will be buying a pair for my dad too. This is truly the best shoe I have ever owned. Thanks for making such a great product that helps relieve some stress on my very very bad knees (due to heredity and some sports injuries). This shoe is so versatile for some many types of feet. My husband is flat footed while I have a high arch, and we both still love this shoe. I literally will not buy another tennis shoe as I feel no shoe could get any better.

The Freedom ISO 2 model offers comfort, breathability, and a lightweight build, making it perfect for both long-distance and short-distance runners. After 100+ miles, my shoes show no signs of wear.

Excellent running shoe - by , Jul 07, 2019

This is my first pair of Saucony and was referred to try them by another friend. Prior to my purchase I was having some discomfort while running. I exercise on the tread mill 3-4 times a week and once I switched shoes my discomfort was gone. Great shoes and worth the investment. It was obvious immediately that Saucony invested in making a comfortable and durable shoe when I first laced them up.
