Great running shoe, lost a star for quality of upper - by , Sep 25, 2018
4/ 5 Stars
I have ran about 30 miles in these shoes already, and I adore them. The everun midsole really lives up to the hype, offering a good amount of cushion while still being responsive. The midsole and outsole still look and feel like new, so while I can't be certain, I suspect these shoes will last me a good while. The iso fit upper is also great, I like the sock like feel to make the midfoot feel more secure. However, the upper is where all of my issues with the shoe are. For one, it runs about a half size small; I'm usually an 11 but had to go to an 11.5 to get enough space for my toes. My second issue is how soft the heel is; there is only a strip of plastic across the heel to keep it in place and it's just not enough support. If you misplace a step on a curb, your foot will slide right of the insole of the shoe since there is no adequate heel cap. My next issue seems specific to the pair that was delivered to me, probably some sort of manufacturing error but worth mentioning. Both the left and right shoe have tags identifying them as men's 11.5, but the right shoe is visibly longer than the left. I realized this is because the tip of the right shoe does not bend upward as sharply as the left, so it looks and feels a little longer. It's not a big deal, but definitely annoying. That sounds like a lot of negatives, but really, this is a great neutral shoe. It's cons are worth weighing, but I feel the ride and quality of the shoe make up for it.

Cushioning, at the heart of the issue! - by , Sep 25, 2018
5/ 5 Stars
The Freedom ISO has the cushioning where it is needed. I have a slight case of PF, in both of my feet and the additional cushioning, in the forefoot of these shoes has given me the relief I have been looking for in a running shoe. Also, lightweight and sharp looking.

Good shoe but not what I expected - by , Sep 23, 2018

I have been running in Kinvara 9s and Kinvara 8s decided to try the Freedom ISO when they dropped the price to less than the Kinvara 9s. I have run about 30 miles in them. They fit just like the Kinvara 9s but I found the cushioning to be less, felt slight pain in my heels I have not had before, the Freedom ISO is supposed to have more cushion but if you look at the specs the Kinvara 9 has a higher stack height on the heel despite being described as having less cushion. I also do not think the Freedom ISO has as much lateral stability as the Kinvara 9s when I take a sharp turn when running my heel slips a little sideways with the Freedom ISOs which I have not experienced with the Kinvara 9s. I was just going to order another pair of the Kinvara 9s but I read the Kinvara 10 will be coming out in a month so I will wait and order those.

Great with one small, weird exception - by , Sep 19, 2018
3/ 5 Stars
I am a long time kinvara user (started with kinvara 2 and have gotten every single new pair since) and the fit of the freedom iso's were similar to the K's. I did notice the iso's have a slightly reduced length from the end of my toe to the shoe. However, it is 1 or 2 millimeters, so not that big a deal. I bought these shoes not to run in but for casual use when I know I will be doing a lot of walking. The iso's are light, comfortable and look good. So why the 3 stars out of 5? They smell weird. Brand new out of the box I noticed the shoes have a borderline uncomfortable smell. Other than that, they're fine.

Most comfortable shoe I own! - by , Sep 19, 2018
5/ 5 Stars
I have bought four pairs because of how comfortable and breathable they are. For me they do wear out near the toe on the fabric portion but I am on my feet all day as a physical education teacher. They definitely have miles on them.

I’ve bought plenty of running shoes & have ran 5 Marathons. This shoes are too tight too small for my size.

This shoe is perfect for the running - by , Sep 15, 2018

I must say Saucony is going to be a big brand in running shoe....i was using nike from last 4 year and thought to try something new. Freedom ISO is lightweight, complete fit and very responsive. I had 40 mile run till now and looks these shoe will go long. Just i will request 1 little improvement tht is heel grip is not proper...thats because very soft material is used. But still that shoe is must try.

I have very difficult feet to fit and these shoes fit perfectly and now I’m getting a back up pair. Can’t say enough about these shoes.
