The mirage 4 have been a best friend to me. They feel comfortable and they're really light. I wore these for my cross country season and I have ran more than 100 miles with these. They still feel good and I plan on buying another pair of these mirage 4s! Can't wait until the mirage 5 comes out so I can buy those too.

Good shoe. Light feel - by , Oct 11, 2014

I made the switch to these from the Ride 6. I like a light trainer with firm cushioning, and Saucony decided to soften the cushioning for the Ride 7, much like they did when they went from the Triumph 10 to the 11. The Mirage is listed as a mild stability shoe, but it feels like a normal lightweight trainer to me. I like the feel of the shoe and the lightweight upper, though the tongue could use more cushioning, as I keep my laces tight and after an hour the top of my foot starts to hurt. This is another great shoe from Saucony and a solid alternative to the Ride 7 if you're like me and find that shoe's cushioning now too soft.

Great for overpronators - by , Sep 08, 2014

I'm a HS senior running about 40-50 miles a week and absolutely love these shoes. Wore the Mirage 3 last year, and the 4 is much more durable than the 3. They've held their stability much better than I expected. I wish that there were more color ways available, but that's truly a minor complaint. These are definitely the best trainers that I've ever worn!

Terrible update - by , Aug 16, 2014

The mirage 2 was a great shoe! Mirage 3.... narrow and poor quality and that only got worse with the 4. Luckily I found a few pairs of the 2 to keep me until the 5 or new model in this category is announced. Saucony, you make great products, who made this shoe for you? It sure wasn't Saucony... Follow some of the footsteps from the Kinvara 5 on the 5th generation Mirage... it will dominate the market.
