I have been ordering the Triumph shoes about 4 times per year as I walk 50 miles per week and wear them out after 3 months. I find that the latest shoe that I received are the least comfortable for some reason. The don't seem as cushioned inside. I'm not sure why, but am loathe to find a different shoe that I will be more disappointed in.

Comfortable Shoe. - by , Jun 01, 2019

My first Saucony running shoe was the Zealot Iso . Since then I have owned the Triumph Iso 2, 3, and 4. I bought the Triumph Iso 5 when it first launched last year, and most recently bought the teal/frost color refresh. I enjoy them for jogging/running and wearing them everyday because they are incredibly cushioned and feel like walking on clouds. I have tried to find the softest, most cushioned shoe on the market and have tried Asics Gel-Nimbus a few years back and most recently Brooks Glycerin 17 and Hoka ONE ONE Bondi 6. I have found the triumph Iso 5 to be by far the most comfortable shoe out of them.

These shoes aren't bad. I wouldn't say they are 2 star shoes at $75, but at $150 they leave little to be desired. I have done about 20 miles in them so far and right off the bat I can tell you that the left and the right shoe feel very different (the arch seems lower on the left and there seems to be something rolling up the toe on the left). This isn't something I have ever experienced before, so I don't think it is my feet. The width is also pretty wide for a standard fit shoe. Even with the laces tight I feel my foot moving a little more than I would like. I don't think it is a terrible shoe, but for this price I expect more. Once these are done I wouldn't buy them again.

Just what I was looking for - by , Mar 28, 2019

I always felt I had a wide foot but found out it wasn’t. I got on the machine and it said it had something to do with my arch. I have a nice arch I’m not flat footed. They told me to try these and bam. Just what I was searching for. Feels like two pillows on my feet. I highly recommend them.

Not as good as former versions - by , Mar 21, 2019

I’ve always been a Triumph user, started with the 8. Some versions were better than others. My favorite was probably the original ISO version, even though I don’t really care for the ISO fit system, the cushioning in it was very good. Version 5 is a nice looking, well built shoe. However, the cushioning isn’t near as good as the original ISO version. I tried the Freedom and didn’t care for the feeling of the cushioning in it either. I quess I just don’t like the full length midsole slab of Everun cushioning. So, I bought the Ride ISO and like the cushioning much better, but still don’t care for the ISO fit system. The Triumph has been my go to shoe for years, I can only hope that Saucony goes back to the former cushioning and ditches the ISO fit. Also beware that the fit is somewhat big through the mid foot forefoot area. Very much looking forward to the release of the new Ride.

Disappointed - by , Dec 22, 2018

I’ve been a Saucony fan for years. I’ve gotten a lot of good miles out of the Triumph series over the years. Especially loved the original Triumph ISO! Unfortunately I just don’t care for the full length EVRUN midsole on the Triumph now. To me it’s just not very good cushioning. I very much disliked the ISO 4 and was hopeful the 5 would be better. It is somewhat better with the 2mm extra EVERUN, but still isn’t my taste. Others may feel differently, but for me I’m going to have to move to another shoe to get the underfoot comfort I desire. Thanks Saucony for a lot of good years running in your product.
